Description

First-person rogue-like / (")survival-horror(") that was crafted to look like an extension of the Clash of the Titans film from the '80's; it has been criticized for the graphics, but I think they were crafted lovingly. The game is a bit rough/wonky (and, last I checked, the apparently once-promised controller support still wasn't integrated... actually it's been months since the last update... :/ ), but it is very fun and very true to the source material.
This is truly a hidden gem.
Did it?! Did it go: BRRR-BRR-BRR BRRR-BRRRRRR?!?!
The Station

DRR-DRR-DRR.

You unintentionally reminded me of The Enigma of Amigara Fault. Why would you do this to me?

Unintentional, as IDK what that is... Apologies / You're welcome, whichever is appropriate ("Apologies" is appropriate. Yep)

It's a horror manga by Junji Ito. You can read it here. If you want.

Junji Ito's works have a bit of a Lovecraftian feel to them. He was going to be working with Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro on Silent Hills, but Konami decided they don't like video games. So much potential, gone. :(

...oh... oh... that story though... oh... I feel weird after having read it...
Very interesting. But... I-it was all just a coincidence... right? Or is it like Dragon's Dogma, in there being infinite similar/identical Earth planes...?
Thanks for pointing me to it... I think

I don't think it's coincidence, nor infinite similar/identical Earth planes. Probably closer to reincarnation. That said, there's no real answer, just some implied stuff from the protagonist's dreams.

Horror tends to work best when not everything is answered. We fear the unknown, so explaining what would normally scare us tends to drain it of the horror aspects it inspires.

Junji Ito's works are the only manga that I've ever actually found myself interested in reading. Granted, haven't tried reading...any other manga, I don't think. But I love horror (especially body horror), so Junji Ito is right up my alley.

Thanks for the whitelist, by the way!
