Before they add Malaysia RM i couldnt buy anything from store (market was ok) but after that its fine for me but if i buy a gift its region locked and my currency is RM but im not using RM in my country,but i if i want to charge my wallet i will sell keys on market and buy games for myself ...
Iran is not in any regions cuz of its problem with USA,we dont have any american banks in Iran (I blame my government and their politics) so when i told support they couldnt help ... (Happy SG birthday btw)

If u create an account in Iran,the only way to charge ur account for the first time is by using a steam wallet code which u can buy in Iran (some stores are selling it) and using a VPN (Mostly people use America or Canada VPN) but after that you can charge it with keys and ... . I know using a VPN is illegal but people dont have a choice and they choose US/CA store so they pay full prices for games and steam doesnt care,so their store is US/CA

Hopefully steam rewards honest folks with fair prices in the future as they couldve just used a cheaper store.
Some games is cheaper than EU or US but if my country get a region its really easy for me to charge my account and it might be cheap here too who knows
