Trine 1 is really cool, i played a bit of trine 2 and got bored really quick, maybe i should give it another try

Really? I loved both. Trine 1 feels a bit more focused, but Trine 2 has a lot more depth.. oh, though I believe it started a bit slow, before it got into the cool stages and concepts, so perhaps that may be it. :)

Both games are co-op-able, and amazing for it. I highly recommend it for that, if you're into co-op in the least.
Otherwise.. hmm. Solo is better in short bursts, I think, so you might actually want to start playing it as a palate cleanser between other games :)
Neither game is particularly long to beat, either.
