Have you ever visited a national monumental? Want to recommend me some for my travels in the future?

Well, the national monument in Amsterdam is called National Momnument...so uhm, yea. It's nice, if you can see it underneath all the tourists and pigeons.

Don't really do a ton of travel (not doable at the moment really and wife gets nervous in most means of transportation other than a car), so sorry no recommendations from me.

Have you considered taking a tour on the coast (with a car)? I believe it would be lovely.

That will be possible in the coming years. Up until about 2.5 years ago the nearest coast to me was 800 miles away, which somewhat rules out traveling there by car. Now I live a bit under 300 miles from a coast though now I have 2 kids that don't do well in the car for extended periods of time. Give them about a year or two and I think they'll be ready for that kind of a trip. Then there will definitely be a few trips to historic places and/or the coast :)

Wow whislisted game! Thank you. I'm sure I've seen a lot of monuments but me travelling the world is a long long time ago. So tbh I completely forgot about them.

They are both pretty awesome, but hiking around Bryce Canyon was great. Beautiful and breathtaking views.

The arch in St. Louis. Twice as tall as the Statue of Liberty and you can go to the top :)

Forget I said that. This comment was meant to be for the Indonesia suggestion above, and the comment I have written there was meant to be here. This is what happens when you try to reply all the posts before the ga's end.
