Good thing you were in the itstoohard-steamgroup - went perusing your steam profile in frustration and stumbled upon it by chance and had a "wait just a minute... I remember this!"-moment :)
That was great puzzle!
Most of it was smooth sailing for me. I only had some trouble in pub part, where I was trying to arrange letters from Q3 in itstoohard link. "Maybe you only need to take letters after slashes; maybe if it has slash it's a capital letter.", etc. But then it dawned on me that "6 Weekly kegs, Hope everyone zooms every Jug" is a strange sentence with strange capitalisation.
So thanks for this entertaining puzzle and thanks for the giveaway of a really good game. Won't enter because I already have it.
Yep that page was all about the misdirection, I figured a lot of people would skip over the first paragraph. Glad you enjoyed it and well done for getting here.
Thanks for the puzzle! I was stuck in the pub for a bit too, until I read the "You don't need to come back to SteamGifts.com until you're told to" hint. For the longest time, since you had exactly one number and four mis-capitalized words (you, Weekly, Hope, Jug), I thought it was some combination of them in a steamgifts xxxxx code.
No effing way. I was about to go out eat something but was like, meh, I'll give it another try. Highest time, too, I see, it had been closed should I come back after eating out.
After initially getting to the pub, I had no idea what to do. Was trying that children's game as 5 digit code.. ended up on Greek MTV with some url shortener (even though I very well know it's dangerous to put random codces in random shortners or imgur). After some time out I realized this should be itstoohard code, from the message after poll. Was trying that 8 bullet list as itstoohard code, granted it didn't have casing format.. So I took another break and then it hit me.
Thanks for the interesting puzzle. I'm glad you didn't include facebook or I'd be angry xD
