This is the Geology hub for March's Puzzle Event!! SCIENCE!.
There are four quizzes following this with giveaway trains in between.

I managed to get to the Geology Quiz 2 and have solved all questions but one: The layers. If I may ask: Is it compositional or mechanical. Because there are a lot of different descriptions with different amounts of layers and the combinations i used so far have been wrong.
EDIT: Got it, a clarification may still be useful for others since we can't assume that everyone is using the same source.
I ended up getting it, It was just the format that threw me off. Didn't expect to have to write it like that. Was expecting to write the eruption name or volcano name.
Two little difficulties:
for Q6 the hint you gave to faragona didn't helped me (I tried all the 10 names of the first google result but it didn't worked) and all the remaining result say pretty much the same stuff.
Q10 a little hint for non-english native speakers? :s

Hi jeff. Thanx for the heads up! Nice event you are planning there. I'm not sure I will have enough time in the near future, as work is piling up, so I don't know if I can handle puzzle creating at this time. I'll probably take part as GA contributor.

P.S. [29.Blue Dome Church,Greece,Oia] will be a tough one, since little to no info is flying on the web about it. There are many photos though.

I added many more combinations, which cover mechanical, compositional and some other listed around on the web. You should solve it easily now I think
Edit: On your edit. It's true. Multiple interpretations around the web are confusing. I have the same problem with other quizzes of he event

I fixed the hint for Q6. Now it should be easy. Just google it
As for Q10 it's a quote of a game champion. You'll find it easily if you google the hint

It runs weekly from Oct till Jan 2019 for 15 months so you can jump in at any time...
