Does Steamgifts check DLC ownership at all? Yes, but just to tell you that you don't own base games.
I could join all the GA's for DLC's that I already own.

DLC's I own are usually hidden from me. This one, not so much.
When you go to send a gift directly through Steam, however,, it tells you if the recipient owns the base game or DLC's. That's why I said, "Check your winner."

Just got the gift, activated & marked it as received. ;)
This DLC was quite strange fruit: over the last year i tried numerous times but i never achieved to add it to my steam wishlist. I was a bit worried it may cause some trouble during activation. Actually it activated and downloaded perfectly so.. hurray!!
