You reach the cave exit after what seemed like an eternity of finding dead ends. The light burns your eyes, but it's not such a bad thing, after all.

You decide that because there are no other exits and you don't want to die you must step through the shimmering blue portal. The strangeness of the portal makes you feel a bit wary, but... how did you even get into this place? Who brought you here and for what nefarious purpose? With all those unanswered questions you definitely have misgivings about whether you may just be a rat in a maze. Furthermore the room that appears to be through the portal in whatever sense something can be through a glowing oval window looking into some other place, doesn't look very promising. The room looks like a dark, dirty basement and not much better than the box you are already in; however, from this vantage point you can not tell if it has any other exits. So stepping through the portal it strangely doesn't feel any different than walking forward. It certainly seems to have brought you to the dark basement that was visible and looking over your shoulder you see the prison or cell with the black box still sitting in the middle. "Good thing this portal provides some light, I wouldn't want to be stuck here in the dark" you think to yourself. Just then the portal shrinks down to a point and disappears with a shoomp sound. Then looking around, you see that it is pitch black and you are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Fortunately I do find a wolf pack. I ask them to join, they point to their gang leader which seems to be a werewolf.

You remember this feeling. This state. Yes, it's exactly like your payday back at home. Back, when everyone jumped towards their paycheck like a group of hungry wolf cubs.

As you step through the portal you begin to shiver. It's cold, so very cold. You're still in the city, but it seems less ruined. A thick layer of snow covers everything. There are tracks in the snow, tracks that looks like they belong to a pack of dogs, but there are no sign of any humans. Your water soaked pants are getting really cold. To the left of you you hear a scraping sound, but instead of staying to find out what it is, you decide to quickly press the button on the device and step through the portal.

I use what little light there is and try to find anywhere to go but all I seem to find is a very cold river. I see no other choice but it go for it and decide to go for a swim and see where it leads!! First one I entered so first comment
