I have gambled in poker and other card games, never won big. :(

I gamble for fun once in a while.

I lost all my money on gambling...

When I bet or play cards it's almost always for fun so I tend to avoid involving money. I'm somewhat risk averse personally and don't want to put my friends money at risk either really as I'd feel bad if I cleaned them out over a poker game or something like that. I've played a few games with a group of friends that I know aren't going to be put out by a small buy in (something like $20-30 USD), but even then I'm there for the fun and just write it off as $20 spent on a night out with friends. If I end up with cash at the end then that's fine too, but I'd probably just end up buying drinks with it for the other players.

Yes, I just call them investments so it sounds legitimate
