I just completed the main quest from this game two days ago, and now I'm looking forward to playing Fallout 4.
The game is poorly optimized for modern PC and may need some tweaking to work correctly. Please refer to this guide in order to get the game working correctly on your PC.

My karma probably isn't doing too good myself. I should dig around and make some gibs. Thanks for making this giveaway, hopefully it will bring your karma into order!

if you also have new vegas you should look into downloading a specific mod called "a tale of 2 wastelands" and enjoy

…but only after you completed Fallout 3 normally. TTW kinda-sorta utterly messes up the FO3 part's balance.

Don't skip New Vegas, trust me.

I was originally planning on playing NV after Fallout 3 since I didn't think I'd get my hands on Fallout 4 so soon. (Thanks to my brother in law who picked me in the Secret Santa gift exchange this year)
I'm eager to play Fallout 4, but I still have the Broken Steel mission to get through and there's tons of side quest I haven't done yet in F3 (including The Pitt and Point Lookout DLC) and I know I'll have a harder time going back to the older games once I'm comfortable with F4 new system. (Kinda like when I tried playing Oblivion again after a hundred hours in Skyrim)
So I'm a bit torn between playing Fallout 4 now and getting through NV first. Although I kinda started a bit of Fallout 4 before finishing F3 so I'll probably just hop back in that and hope that I can still enjoy New Vegas afterwards.

I suppose it depends on your priorities and what you like about the franchise. NV is basically Fallout 4.25 in terms of gameplay, but it definitely has the best writing and quest design of any of the 3D games, possibly the entire franchise. FO4 has some huge gameplay improvements, the settlement system (which I personally don't like, but you might, and it's easy to mostly ignore if you don't) and of course it's much prettier, but the writing and quest design are easily the worst of the series and most of the RPG crunch has been removed.
I liked FO4 and have about 70 hours in it, but I'm not really feeling inclined to ever go back and finish it. I miss the stronger RPG elements, so I find myself going back to New Vegas instead. But in any case, I hope you have fun with whatever you decide to play next!

Fallout 4 is a direct sequel while NV is the continuation of the old Fallouts, before Bethesda did a complete reboot. So while it is a great game (in several aspects superior to FO3/4), it will still a little bit like watching an old Star trek movie in-between the two J. J. Abrams reboot ones. same franchise, but totally different styles.

Seems like I grabbed the wrong URL when I made the post. (That's what happen when you create a thread at 2 a.m. before going to bed)
Thanks for the larger image, I updated the description with it.
