Those cat gifs are the life-savers, you know! But, there is a limit of what can gifs can do =(
As I see, the game is about some witches? There were an anime project on Kickstarter some time ago - Little Witch Academy 2 in which I participated. I think it is good that independent projects like this are possible today, and there are lots of people willing to make them happen. The movie was relatively short, and I believe it took a lot of time and resources, but it was totally worth it!

unfortunately, I cannot spare too much money right now (currently, most of my extra money goes to bundles :P) ... we'll see in a future ;)

They released, like, year and half late (October 2015), didn't met some criteria (achievements, cards). And game is rather short. Who knew that nearly 1M $ crowdfunding couldn't get a great game!..
Oh, and they still need to make Wii U version of game.

I'm regularly buying cheaper bundles, but after that, I'm usually not comfortable enough to give 10-20$ for upcoming games.
Previously in financially more stable times I backed DieselRoguestormers, Broforce, and the upcoming Land of Eyas. I'm not 100% sure to regret the last one or not (when I played it during alpha, it was incredibly easy while it's supposed to be hard), but the other games - I'm happy for helping them :)

There were two games I backed on Kickstarter which were cancelled afterwards - so I paid literally for nothing, it was sad =(
So now I'm more careful with backing, but I totally enjoyed, for example, Wasteland 2 or Pillars of Eternity.

Not yet, I haven't really seen many crowdfunded movie/anime projects but then again I've never really looked for them. I would probably back some fantasy or sci-fi related if I seen an interesting one.
