I remember this game. I found it while looking for a game that was similar to Xcom. Seems like review scores dropped since then, but I hope it's a good game still.
I've started playing it last year, but then came Fallout 4 and then XCOM 2, so it's now having a rest. But I liked it.
Not an AAA game, not so free-roaming and many-paths-to-take kind of game, but the engine is good of course, and has a very nice atmosphere.

Fallout 4 is pretty fun (played it on a friend's Xbone) and I haven't had the chance to play Xcom 2 due to a weak computer.
