Just when you leave the solar system the ships instruments receive strange signals over the S.O.S.-channel.
First you think it might be interferences caused by the HMS Caesar which is supposed to return to Earth soon but you heard never interferences sound like that before.
By filtering some frequencies out and enhancing others you manage to turn the transmission into signals that are audible by human ears.
The voice you hear now sounds like it belongs to a creature from a Lovecraft novel, oscillating in a way that makes the whole ship vibrate like a slowpoke on ecstasy.
You can't understand what the voice is telling you as it's speaking a language you never heard before:
