I usually take the day off for my birthday when I worked. Right now, I'd give my left arm to be well enough to work, since I've been ill for so long. But I get how the daily grind makes most people hate their jobs.

It's my birthday, I fell asleep and I was so lazy to go anyway.
And something curious from today begins the "dry law" because on Sunday there are elections in my country.
Anyway, almost no one respects that law and you see many people (including me) going very drunk to vote.
