Why are you going to play a SG win this month?
Just trying some comment format options and bumping this for beating The Wolf Among Us (with screenshot)
I'm halfway War for the Overwold, already started Betrayer and installed both Eon Altar and its controller app.
If I'm doing something wrong with formats or the chart just let me know.

It will never be 100% fair. Even if there were no points for achievements and screenshots it still would be more profitable to play 15 one hour long "games" (15 points) instead of playing a game lasting 15h or more (which would be 10 points) ;)

It could be made more fair by just making it 1 hour = 1 point. Right now playing a 1 hour game with 100% achievements and a screenshot is worth 4 points (4 points per hour). Playing a 15 hour game with the same is 18 13 points (less than 1 point per hour). That discrepancy is pretty crazy.

If I could go back I'd change a few things, but I like how it's going. I agree it's easier to play shorter games, but I want as many participants as possible, so I had to give a chance for people that don't have much time and can only play 1-2 short games a month. I hope there will be a second version of this. Maybe then I'll think of better rules. xD

After this challenge I rethought the way I look for game on Steamgifts. In the past I only participated in the giveaways that were on my wishlist (it's a very long list) and with the remaining points I participated in that had more chances to win (those with many copies, restricted only to my region or bad games that nobody most wanted). Now I realized the amount of bad games that I have accumulated and that I do not know if I really want to play (no, I do not want... I have several other great games in my library that I have not started yet) so I have only gone into game giveaways that I would have fun playing, even though I get fewer games from now on. For me the challenge was good for this simple reason.
The points system can be improved: there are very easy games that are very easy to achieve 100% achievements and great games that you will finish with only 60% ~ 70% (and you would need to play once or twice again to reach 100 %), but I think it's up to each player to know which games are worth and which are not (maybe).
P.s.: I'm trying to switch between games that I want to play with games I do not want (to finish the bad games list that I won here and never open and to be able to participate only with fun games next month). : )

You're the first person I know who could finish this game, congratulations! I tried this too, but I found it a bit difficult (several times I arrived at the exit without having found all the diamonds of the level and I had to go back from the beginning to search all over again). And I have a question: are the 10 bonus stages necessary to finish the game or do I just have to complete the 20 normal levels? : |

Sorry, i don't know 30 or 20 lvls, but im complete all))

I think I do not understand. Have you completed the 20 basic levels? I want to finish this game later, but if I really need to finish all the bonus levels (which are really difficult, with the diamonds hidden in boxes and things like that) I think I'll leave it for some time to have more time left (seriously, this game is good more difficult than I expected).

I played it when I did not have the internet, because i'm complete 20+10 lvls)) I really had a lot of time)

Creating a website for this event is an amazing idea! Now you'll hopefully have some free time this month :)
I have 2 questions that might or might not be related to possible website bugs :)
Comment has been collapsed.
I think I will join, even if it's half of the month already :) According to script, I touched 83.8% (67/80) of my won games, but if we are talking about achievements - ≥25% complete: 61.3% (38/62). I think I have some room to play :)
As I understand, if I played like 7 minutes of the game, and put it away, I can try it again a beat it?

Don't worry, I have the same problem and I think many others do. LastM said that the process is still mostly manual:

It seems that the last update means the last sync with the spreadsheet, while the spreadsheet itself wasn't updated at that time yet. So we just have to wait a bit more :)

I beat first game :)

Midnight Mysteries 3: Devil on the Mississippi | Achievements ] | beaten | 3H |
*Robinson has only one completionist track on HLTB, but since the game has no additional content accept main quest, and I beat it in around 3h, I think we can accapt it as a story playtime
**HLTB says 4h, I managed to beat the game in around 3h.
LastM, do you prefer me to write another table for every game I will bit, or edit this table and just adding a link to it in new post?

I've just noticed that you're not whitelisted by me. I've changed it. Thank you for running and moderating this awesome event! ;D

Something I was wondering - do you spend points to unlock individual doors, or do they unlock automatically once you have at least that many points?

Thanks for participating!!
Hello everyone and welcome to another month of playing your SG wins! 乁( ◔ ౪◔)ㄏ
I hope that y'all are ready for another challenge! This time, with a twist: Prizes!
Because September = Prizes to a participating member, of course! xD
This month's challenge: The legendary quest to defeat the evil Dr.Backlog!
"It's not a quest, if you don't find loot!" -Einstein, Albert.
Therefore, this month, for beating your sg wins, you'll get a chance to find some epic bounty!
Games will be divided into one of the 4 categories below, according to the time one would take to beat them (just main story). Each beaten game will award you points:
Very short games (< 2 h) = 1 point
By gathering points you'll unlock the doors to awesome loot! You may unlock them by acquiring the required amount of points in any way you want.
Eg: To unluck door 3, one could simply beat a game like Evoland 2 or get challenged to beat Portal and Solstice. More on that later!
Click here to get your reawards!
Click Here to see the current standings in the rank
TL;DR: Play sg wins --> get points --> achieve a certain amount of points to unlock GAs --> Get loot!
* If you have less than 20% of your SG win left to play or haven't won a game yet. You could use any unplayed games instead of a SG win. Same rules! This is only for those close to 0 sg wins left to play! Just because you don't like your sg wins, doesn't mean you shouldn't try them! (¬、¬)
(Optional) The "It's time to du-du-duel!" challenge:
If instead of choosing your own games you prefer getting challenged by your fellow SGers, you can have them select a number of games from your unplayed wins and challenge you with them!
Will get twice the normal amount of points for beating a challenge!
Eg: Using the example above - by beating Evoland 2 one would normally get 10 points; however, if someone challenges you to beat said game and you finish it, you'll get 20 points (2x10). If you get challenged to beat Portal and Solstice, you would get 6 (2x3) points for each game - 12 points total.
If you want to get challenged with random games reply to this post and another user will select 3 to 5 games for you to choose which one (or more!) you'll be playing for this month's challenge! (challengers: try to include games of different sizes!)
(Optional) The screenshot challenge:
You may post 1 screenshot per game beaten to earn an extra point for said games!
Eg: Both Portal and Solstice are worth 3 points each. However, if you post a screenshot of each game, you can earn 1 extra point per game! (3+1+3+1=8 points!)
(Optional) The Completionist Challenge:
If you unlock all the achievements in a game you get 2 extra points per game!
(Optional) The mightiest heroes challenge:
If we reach more than 100 participants, I'll invite the top 10 people with the highest amount of points to earn even more loot!
For it to count the game needs to be beaten/finished. Which means no endless mode/multiplayer etc games. You'll also have to post some kind of proof, that could either be a link to your achievement page or a screenshot of the ending credits.
Don't forget to reply to this thread to participate! (You may edit your post as you beat more games, just don't forget to warn me or you won't unlock the corresponding door!)
You can use this code for easier formatting:
Should look like this:
FAQ:
"I just wanna play games and post here!" - Please, be my guest! We all would love to read about that! :D
"I already started a game yesterday. Does it count?" - As long as you haven't played more than 25% of it, according to its HLTB time (main story), it's ok!
"I wanna play a game without achievements. How will a prove that I've beaten it?" - By posting a screenshot of the ending credits! ;)
"Can I challenge everybody?" - Please, challenge up to 2 participants. Other people would like to participate as well!"
"I don't wanna participate. Can I still challenge other people?" - Sure! Participating is more than just playing games. It's interacting with your fellow SGers!
"I've already beaten all my sg wins. How can I participate?" - Just find any unplayed games in your backlog and beat it! You may get points according to the rules above!
"I've never won a game here" - Same as above!
"I don't wanna play any of the games that I've been challegend to beat." - It's fine if you're a beautiful, strong and independent SGer who needs no challenges! Just pick your own games to beat and have fun!

Before I forget, I would like to thank Skanda for this opportunity, Wolfedood for the duel idea and both Ninglor03, PleasantBlackSheep and [Redacted] for the feedback and ideas about this challenge! It wouldn't be the same without all of you! :D
