Is this the charity bundle they should have done in December?
not to mention the amount of dlc that some of these games have like well over £100+
Comment has been collapsed.
You can either buy the game and the DLC for store price, or get the base game, play it, and decide on if you like it enough to spend on DLC (half of which are usually isn't even actual content).
I really don't see why it's a problem, that a game in a bundle has DLCs. They have DLCs even when they aren't in the bundle, it's not a problem outside of it? And still, cheap way to get a game.

i don't have a problem with dlc normally of course but i think as nice as it is they added their game to this bundle (although it wasn't that long ago it was in for $1 also on Humble so what value this adds to people getting it - is another question) - i think it does more harm than good as people see the amount of dlc and cost of it and a lot of people won't try it because they'll think as soon as i get into the game i will need dlc at £3 or £4 to get accesses to part of the game

rather be paying £30 for a better bundle than this - easy pass

If the World War Z was for Steam and not Epic then I might buy it.

Confused bc it says " Redeem on Steam" on the bundle page.
" All of the games in this bundle are available on Steam for Windows — and some for Mac and Linux too. "

My post there was made 3 weeks ago. Before the bundle was made official.

INvalid as when the leak was posted it was never stated which version it would be. And the epic store version was still free on amazon gaming.
Comment has been collapsed.
SO sorry for giving you updated information? valid lol
Comment has been collapsed.
My dude i don't know what the problem is, but all I'm saying is that they are all steam keys now. That's valid and true. You don't have to take it as a challenge.

I got it for free years ago on epic, but this is a key for steam. It may not have been the case when it was leaked, but it is now, why my statement is valid. The last person just thanked me for the info, lol.

No it's literally the same game. The original title was changed. You cannot find a first one and a second one. I owned the first one and it was just updated to the new name with changes.
Comment has been collapsed.
yes and I got it, and now the only one in my library is Aftermath.....
https://cogconnected.com/review/world-war-z-aftermath-review/
It is an expansion on the base game, not a sequel. You cannot own 2 separate games.
Why don't you take a little extra time and actually look the game up on steam and see if you can find WWZ and WWZ:Aftermath separately ... because you can't . It is NOT a sequel. It was an expansion on the base game, and if you owned the based game, you now only own Aftermath, because that is the only listed title under the name.
Comment has been collapsed.
so if i go on epic i can play aftermath having wwz before?
Edit..well we both right..it is an evolution , a sort of remastered version of WWZ, but i need to spend 12 euro to get my version , the free version, updated with the new map, class and conmtent of the aftermath version
Comment has been collapsed.
It's the same game with an expansion as I stated, it has the same item id. If you owned the original, you now own aftermath.

Very poor bundle, with two repeats that were in t1 in recent bundles. Very disappointing. Hope the new Monthly isn't as disappointing as this one. Why not do the same as the BLM and Covid bundle? 30€ but have tons of games, and some actually good ones.

would buy if WWZ is for steam, the rest I'd give away. But I'd rather personally donate to a breast cancer charity on my own if that's the case.

saw this was a thread and thought it might be good for good cause but this selection is rather poor - i mean don't get me wrong anyone giving their product away for charity is great but a few of these seem like they are just doing this in the hopes they make the money back with dlc like didn't the hunter:call of the wild do a bundle on humble where it including a lot of dlc in said bundle - going this route even for charity is going to be really expensive - sadly i'd love to help toss cancer away but will not be buying this bundle

I own all of them except for three, World War Z: Aftermath, Peppy's Adventure, and Hamilton's Great Adventure. Might buy it for charity, but the game selection really isn't tempting me.
Comment has been collapsed.
saw the store page for Hamilton's great adventure only works on Vista and windows 7 - so not sure if you saw this and could even use the game
Comment has been collapsed.
i haven't got the game so i haven't tried it but good to know it might still work

System Requirement lists aren't necessarily updated on game pages to reflect newer OS or hardware.
They are guides at best, and inaccurate at worst.
In the case of Hamilton's Great Adventure, for example, it's an 11 year old game, and Windows 8 hadn't even been released.

...OK the best name for charity! Say guy who beat cancer as kid
Comment has been collapsed.
i did already mention that to someone earlier who said it was one the games he was missing - i mean really how many people are still using Vista or 7 now - aren't most people on 8.1 or 10 or 11?
Comment has been collapsed.
Supposedly it was because it was hard to update Steam with older OS systems since they'd barely run anything + the userbase was very low on them. Less than 1%. But there are still no real updates, so I'm guessing it was just because of money and effort.

freebies and rebundleds....not the best...for sure

I mean objectively it's a great bundle. For no-lifers like us, definitely weak. But to pretend that having the most popular asymmetric multiplayer game, a modern well-received co-op shooter, one of the most popular co-op shooters, one of the more monumental indie revolution inciting titles and still a bunch of other well received games is this pathetic offering, then I think it's a bit ridiculous.
But overall of course direct donating is better, fancier games are also always better and cheaper prices are amazing and so on.
Comment has been collapsed.
It must have been from availability, because all of them show to be steam keys. ": All of the games in this bundle are available on Steam for Windows — and some for Mac and Linux too. "
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah no worries. I saw this mentioned a few times , as well as keys being out of stock at one point, so I imagine it may of been epic keys at one point.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, it's strange how none of the games have anything to do with cancer (unless you count the online community of Dead by Daylight). But then again, googling only shows the one you mentioned that is specifically about that topic. Not many games out there beside that one
Comment has been collapsed.
WWZ is a L4D clone. It's nothing like the 2 you mentioned besides zombies.
Comment has been collapsed.
payday 2 - you can play solo with bots you do all the things you do online, you just break into buildings steal stuff and try to escape
dead by daylight - only online, 4 people try to start engine and try to flee 1 person tries to stop them.
world war z - you an play solo with bots you do all the things you can do online - run over map, kill zombies, do stuff and have a "campaign" and "story"

Nope, I've made a direct donation recently to a really great cancer charity that I know does a lot of good for patients who are going through treatment. We don't have to buy rebundles to give to a good cause, Humble.
I'd honestly suggest others to do the same if they're thinking about the cause it's for. Not worth it if you have most of the games and a direct donation would be more beneficial to them. =)

Okay 100% is definitely going to the cancer charity, so that's better at least.
