It's Hitman 2 prologue and Hitman 2 remakes of levels from previous game if you own thoses.

I'm not so sure about it being free (for keeps). Yes, after adding it shows the usual "HITMAN™ 2 is now registered to your account on Steam." message like the "no cost" licences do, but it doesn't show up in the library and in the licence activation history it's listed as complimentary, also steamdb shows it as "free on demand", so the usual f2p licence. Something seems messed up.

Yes. I added it to my account and all giveaways of HITMAN 2 are closed to me.

I dislike the way it's setup for this game. I can't tell which of my friends actually own the game(unless they've earned achievements that are clearly part of the full game), and which just have the prologue. I am curious if this also effects the owners count on Steam Spy, and the concurrent players. I assume it does.

It's a completely new game from the Hitman 2 (Contracts?) from around 2002 or whatnot. I think this one is HITMAN 2 (all caps). Yeah, they're very creative.

Joke aside, shouldnt the appid be removed from the list. The game have diffrent subids and you can create giveaways from the subids from this site.
If its not removed. As long as users create their GA with correct subid, then you can still join the GA.

Yeah I found this out the hard way. There was a whitelisted giveaway with low entries but I couldn't enter because I have seasons 1,2 which I got for free. I didn't know if I uninstalled hitman what would happen so I just left it on my computer and didn't enter the giveaway.
