Not a fan of this system. They mentioned in their email that XP decays. I'm not beholden enough to any storefront to regularly spend money just for perks. (Especially ones that I've already given away and are out of stock anyway!)

Then prefer to buy at stores with a not decaying cashback, e.g. Gamersgate, WinGameStore.
I haven't bought from GMG for a while, still got silver rank.. Fahrenheit wasn't free anymore when I checked, but I just view it as a bonus (if it works). If not, not my issue. Instead it's theirs, because I don't buy anything there unless historical low.

Oh absolutely. I'll continue to buy there when the price and timing is right, just not for the perks. I mostly find myself shopping at Humble for individual titles and Fanatical for bundles these days anyway.

Currently silver with 316 days to go, seems to be $50 to get to Gold. Although GMG has some decent sales, usually they come too late right after another store sale and the games I'm interested in I already bought elsewhere - this has happened enough times for me to notice.
There is also an intel giveaway banner at the very bottom, mine is about silver tier, I assume it's different for gold tier users.
