Well, if it helps satisfy your curiosity, I'm 18, my hair is dark brown and looks like Murk's (in the second picture, obviously) except it's a bit longer and more "messy" (not by choice). I have a thin mustache "shadow" which is pretty much a "it started growing but I never shaved it because I'm a lazy bum" kind of mustache (at least it doesn't make me look bad... I think?). I also have dark eyes and thick and low eyebrows.
TL;DR: I look like a god damn serial killer. Probably.

I've been made fun of too, I was "a bit" chubby and wore braces pre and early puberty. Not a good time, believe me xD
When I took my braces of and started working in a new town people said I had the nicest smile on the island. No one knew I was happy to finally be able to smile widely because I got rid of the braces, they were just responding to the honesty behind the smile.
What I've learned about people is that it's all about the attitude. No one will make fun of you if you don't show that you're ashamed of something. Especially now that we're no longer in primary school xD
My god--- I'm not sure I'd be able to survive that again O.o
High school (still had the braces but was much thinner) was an entirely different story- went there with an "I'm too cool for you and not here to make friends" attitude and ended up with the "cool girls". They even had a nickname for us, but it doesn't translate well into English: high-heels = štiklice xD

Oh yeah, braces were hell. I LOVE apples and eating those without a knife was impossible. I was lucky to have a friend in high school who'd, during recess, bite off pieces for me so I could eat it.

RWS is more of a social club. We all have other jobs for the most part. We work together making stuff when we are not off working our day jobs. I am a Professor (just one course, 4 months out of the year) the rest of the time I am a boring mild mannered Payroll/HR/Accountant for a Non-Profit Organization for minimum wage.
Edit: I am the youngest professor in our department, which is a little awkward sometimes when everyone else is at least twice my age and think they need to talk down to me... fun times.

It really cut down on the bots, leechers and general nasty people, and just left the people who actually want to add me. Mind you lately the scammer bots have been finding me. I think that is mostly due to being signed in to Friends more often lately.

Bots shouldt be much of a problem since you cant add friends on steam unless you have made a purchase of atleast 5 dollars, before this i would get 2-5 invites from boths a day, now i get 3 a month or so

The bots are worse now then they were before. Every time I am online, I get 2-3. Always the same kind of scams. "Trading [some item I never heard of" and "Click this link to see the rest" going to some fake image hosting virus spewer. Or "Click this weird trade link and I will give you a key"
