I did not have a fear of potatoes, but I did have a fear of the monster under the bed. I was very afraid of the dark right into adulthood. I found out many years later that I had a memory that I had suppressed. I have a twin sister. Yes I do love her, but when we were very young she would slip into the bedroom and sneak under my bed. When I got into bed she would reach up and grab my head or my arm and scare me badly. We were talking about kids being scared of the dark some time in our thirties and she mentioned what she had done as a small child. I think that was about the time that I finally started to get over my fear. It will most likely never go away completely but it is manageable now.

For the longest time, I had to watch horror movies with my fingers over my eyes...just in the spots where I thought for sure the scary spots were going to happen. They still got me from time to time!

Still doable for fast jigidi players (20 minutes left) :)
