My poor rooster died :(

So what happened was that my rooster (Mr. Rooster) had been causing harm to the chickens , because he kept mating with them, until one of our chickens where bleeeding so we took immediate action. I can't blame the rooster in any way, I know he didn't mean to, it was just that we only had 4 chickens for 1 rooster which had become a problem. So my dad gave him away to his friend. I imagined Mr. Rooster happily pecking at the grass and crowing. Until a few days later I found out my dad's friend had apparently put Mr. Rooster in a with other roosters and apparently the chicken to rooster ratio wasn't right and the other roosters had killed him to the death. My dad seemed pretty calm about it. But i'm pretty sad. Luckily he still have 4 more chickens. And even one of them had a new born baby chicken.
