Hello, its my first time submitting something here so i hope im doing this right.
Ara Fell - Games with points on SG between 3 and 14, no achievements as those are for the new version of this game that is yet to come, took me 29h to beat.(was quit much running around searching for things)
Degrees of Separation - Puzzles games, 10/10 achievements, 13h (though most likely 4 h are just me forgetting its running in the background)

No you don't have to set anything manually. I am running the sync right now that will automatically fill in the playtime data for you. The only thing that will need to be done manually is to add those 4 hours you mentioned into "playtime before the event" since that is also used for idle times but I will do this for you.

Is it okay for me to keep adding the Sakura games as I complete them after having added Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter I won last night? I'm not planning on starting it until the weekend when I have more time but I'm going to continue with the Sakura ones until then.
Sidenote: People who have played them, should I play Testament before Devil's Daughter? I have both but between my Sakura challenge, playing won games in this event and the "monthly in a month" challenge, I don't know if I have the time for games that don't fit them.

So here is how it works:
You can keep on submitting them but before I can actually accept them you have to at least try the Sherlock Holmes game our (remember when I told you last month
Also it is actually not required to beat every single win to be able to play non SG wins, just to have tried the game out
). Once that is true you can again submit non SG wins and since I do accept any games already played before you submit them you can submit any Sakura games you played in the mean time.
But for the ease of keeping track of things I would ask you to please only submit them after Sherlock Holmes so they don't get lost/overlooked/be in the way.

I had submit the game, The Myth Seekers: The Legacy of Vulcan.
It's SG points are 10P.
So, I selected 'SG points between 3 and 14' as a subcategory of the game.
But the content has been deleted twice.

Your playtime is set to private, thats the problem. I waited a week to see if you would have changed it and you didn't so I deleted it. And since it was still private the 2nd time you added it I deleted it again.
And you might wanna read the new rules linked on top of this discussion, especially this part:

hey Mouse, I just noticed that two of my games had their category changed.. I'd like to know why..
I put limited life for WttW because there are health bars, but I quite understand changing it to puzzles (I added that too in the info) since it's not easy to understand from store screenshots
for Yoku's though.. it's a pinball platformer, you're constantly pushing a ball at all times, why not leaving important circular object as the theme?

I just changed it because easier for me to verify if a game fits the theme by looking at tags than it is to go through screenshots and figuring out whats going in them. In the end of the day it doesn't matter what the game is verified under as long as it is verified.

I'm looking to find a way to fit Sakura Nova into this, but everything seems a bit far-fetched.
This one is 90% a porn game (many of the other Sakura are a bit more chill with the fan service) where the characters have sex all the time. So... do boobs and "holes" count as important circular objects? LOL
There's also a character named "Zero".
If not, the story pretends to be about some knight students who fight monsters. So, "Survival"? I mean it's not a survival game but that's what the story is kind of about...

Sorry I didn't realize my game playtime is too high.
I tried to achieve all achievements ,collect all collections, play mini games inside the game and make screenshots.They took much longer time than I thought.

While I`m not the admin or anything, so, do not take my answer for granted. But I believe that you can still resubmit the game. Just add the appropriate explanations why the playtime is abnormally high. Also, include all idled time within the "Stats before the start of the event" section.
Here is a perfect example from another user - juttenberg (I hope it is ok to copy the comment here):
"Let's say 40h of idle time. I'm going for completion, but sometimes I don't want to finish a dungeon run and you can't save at any point, so I just let the game stay open in such times"
Other option could be to submit the time it took for you to beat/complete the game. And if you were messing with the game after that (screenshots/videos/guides/collectables which are not part of any achievements or similar activities) simply put that additional time as "idled".

Well, it is a whole genre. You need to collect stuff in the game, most of the time in order to progress (Super Mario 64/Galaxy, A Hat in Time and the like). I asked because I saw Snake Pass had that tag and there you can collect bubbles and coins in each level.

I never played either of those games, but yea if it to collect bubbles/coins and stuff like that it would work. As always, if you makes a decent argument why something would fit (like boobs under circular objects :D ) I will probably approve it :)

Pretty much. If I understood mouse correctly the easiest way to prove that would be that the game has achievements like : collect X amount of thing1 and of course HOGs, but those have a category all on their own.

Nope it is "search and collect" something so it is something you should go out of your way to collect usually aka not random stuff you need for quests and stuff.

Hey Kelly, I have a question related to the theme of next month. I planned to play Syberia 2 and Syberia 3 (since I finished Syberia this month and wanted to continue the story), but I just discovered a strange thing: the 1st and 3rd games has the "Hidden Object" tag, but the 2nd game - has not. So how do I need to submit it?
- Maybe it's fine to put it under "Hidden Object", if you are kindly agree with that,
- or it's better to put it under "Games where do you have to search and collect something", since you know that such games force the player to collect many different things in order to advance further in the story,
- or it's a bad idea and this game does not fit the next month theme at all?

If the first and the 3rd are tagged as hidden object I guess it is reasonable to expect the 2nd one to be also. I will approve it, just do me a favour and when you submit the game link to this comment in the notes in case Samwise gets to it first so she will know to approve it as well :)

It is set to close automatically at midnight but I usually close it manually when I run the last sync of playtime (last night it was 5 minutes before midnight) and then just add anything else manually.
