As somebody who has leveled all 5 characters past Lvl 30 (the original level cap) I can safely say it's a quite fun and unique 4 player coop game but becomes rather challenging on Champion difficulty (3rd) and above. Bots perform very well on the lower difficulties and you can give them rudimentary commands. As in most coop games the community is pretty great (on PS4) and due to the emote chat system there no need for a headset unless you really want to talk. The only issue I encountered is on the lower difficulties you'll sometimes have teammates playing the ranged classes kill-whoring trashmobs with the swift bow instead of doing their job and protecting the group from Specials like Skaven Packmasters which leaves melee classes like Kruber twiddling their thumbs.
Generally speaking I would say the different careers for each hero play more unique than most classes in comparable games.

Which DLCs should I get if i just want to play the single player campaign?

I haven't played it yet, I just added the game to my library. But I know that you need just the game to enjoy the campaign. The DLCs only add extras or short expansions. Except this one, which is also free, a new "rogue" mode, for those who enjoy that kind of experience:

The campaign is the same regardless if you play it solo with bots or in coop.
Back to Ubersreik adds 3 remastered fan favourite levels from the first Vermintide.
Shadows Over Bögenhafen adds 2 new levels.
The Curse of Drachenfels (which is a free update) adds another 3 levels.
Winds of Magic adds Beastmen as a new 3rd enemy faction, 1 new level and a new game mode.
The free Chaos Wastes DLC adds a very fun, new rogue-like game mode. I think it was originally intended be cost money but they gave it away for free as an apology because Winds of Magic was not well received by the community.

Fatshark must be doing really well, It's nice to see that some game studios can share their work from time to time. Darktide looks awesome too, they really know the fórmula for a good co-op game.

Steam users who have either Vermintide games in their library will receive a free DLC called the Devoted Rejects Pack for WH40K Darktide on release day (30 November 2022). Again, you only need one Vermintide game. The pack adds more facial customization choices, notably the same faces of the main Vermintide charcters, in Darktide.

I can't say for certain when it comes to levels (I think you can) but I know for a fact I played a level against Beastmen (Winds of Magic DLC faction) without owning Winds of Magic because the host had it.

You can play all DLC missions if someone else hosts them, except for the Weaves game mode which is exclusive to Winds of Magic owners.
Also, game is so big because as far as I know, textures are uncompressed and that the way game files are handled, it decreases loading times by a lot, which is super important in what is mostly a multiplayer game.

The weaves thing isn't a big downside in my opinion. It's the only gamemode I never really got into despite giving it a fair chance for 15 - 20 hours with two friends.
