I challenge you to complete old game in your library

Every year I write list of things that I need to accomplish in this year. Seeing how my steam library is growing I challenged myself to complete at least 15 games that I bought/got before this year. And there is a lot of uncompleted gems in my library.
For example: I finished Mass Effect 2 in February.
Now I'm playing Dark messiah of Might and magic, which was released 12 years ago...
And I never finished Dragon age: origins, Amnesia, Syberia 2 and never tried Braid...

I wanted as original gameplay as I could - so only HD mod to get 1080p and some higher res textures. Someday I want to finish second one too.

I don't really have "old" games as I only started buying games on Steam a few months ago...I did, however, get lots of games in these last few months. As of right now, I only finished Lara Croft GO, Game Corp DX, Portal (twice), Portal 2 and Viscera Cleanup Detail out of about 90 games that I have. Sure, some of those are your standard random giveaway games (those awfully short games, usually bad too) and I won't play those, but I have other gems in there.

Note: by finishing I mean completing the main story and the side quests / challenges (where available) (or completing all maps in Viscera's case) AND getting all the achievements. I still need 2 for Viscera, but I will do those 2 sometime soon

I am currently close to finishing She Remembered Caterpillars & GRID 2. These 2 are on my "To-Do in the very near future" list

GRID 2 good?
got it for free. not sure should I start it or not
I don't like realistic driving game.
But I liked very much old NFS games. Starting from NFS 4: High stakes, Porsche, Undergroun 1, 2, carbon.
such games where you have GOLF or mazda. Not ferrari or someking super mega racing car :D

You might like Grid 2 then. It is not realistic and you can definitely drive the kind of everyday car, such as a Golf.

Btw, i have finsihed a few games since making that first comment. I will update the comment this weekend. Haven't had a computer for the past 2 months. I also got more games so my backlog is quite big

Here's that update I promised:

  1. I finished Viscera Cleanup Detail
    1-a. Finished Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior & Viscera Cleanup Detail: Santa's Rampage. These 2 are part of the game technically, but they also get their own entry in the library. So, for example, you can get the 2 achievements related to Shadow Warrior by launching "Viscera Cleanup Detail", but you can get them again if you launch "Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior".

  2. I finished Portal Stories: Mel.

  3. I finished The Turing Test.

  4. I got close to finishing She Remembered Caterpillars. There 2 achievements I can't get, but the game is otherwise completed.

  5. I stopped playing GRID 2 due to starting other games. I will continue it some other time.

  6. At the moment, I am working on American Truck Simulator, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and also PC Building Simulator (but I am playing the truck sims more often).
    6-a. I'm on 32 out of 53 achievements on ATS; 40 out of 67 achievements in ETS2 & 28 out of 53 achievements in PCBS.

I'm currently playing with Alpha Protocol. I've tried to complete it previously but for some reason I left it half way done. Now I've started it from the beginning and hopefully can finish this month.

  • Arroyo uses G.E.C.K.
  • Modoc flourishes
  • Den flourishes
  • Vault City joins NCR
  • Mordinos take over in New Reno because of Jet
  • Gecko and Vault City have an alliance
  • Redding deserted
  • Broken Hills ceases to be as the Uranium runs out
  • NCR expands
  • Vault 15 becomes a part of NCR
  • Deathclaws in Vault 13 were murdered by the Enclave
  • The Shi flourish
  • Hubologists blow themselves up with their spaceship.

I agree to some extent. The worst may not be the one I will give it because they have fixed most of the bugs and the DLCs are made with the feedback and those 3 DLCs were really good. If only they had been given more time they would have made it a really good game. So I may say it's an average game considering the above factors. You should give it a try. Yeah I know the game gets a bit stale in between I felt that too but they gave a ok ending and good dlcs if you have spare time do give it a try.

Just completed Lumino City this past week, and did Alice in Wonderland - Hidden objects the week before.

I'll pick out another couple of games that have been in the backlog too long and knock out those too.

much better that overture.
even the game is old atmosphere still very haunting.
amnesia, outlast left until I can play outlast 2 which I won here :D
