Of course I didn't know I won. I was playing, I sa a group notification for the gleam giveaway, i grabbed one, then I activated it, went to SG to sync my profile and the space cat apeared.

I agree about refferals of course, but this one gave 10% If I read it right... so not only 1 party would benefit from it, plus you arent obligated to buy shit there. I dont get whats the fuzz ? You never used discount codes? Someone always benefit from it, always! Even if you buy game on steam with discount voucher... thats internet get used to it.

Given they are giving away a mass amount of keys, I don't see how the group that is doing the giveaway would not be allowed to have a referral link? They are not enforcing it on you, it's simply there for the taking.

Doesn't do that for me- a window pops up asking for my twitter login info, and mentions that it will be able to post tweets for me. No fucking thanks, gleam.

twitter started asking me for a phone number and I'm not planning on giving it to them any time soon, so most of this giveaways are now not available anymore, anyone knows a way to skip twitter or skip having to add a phone number?

I tried making a new account, and it immediately goes to the lockout/add phone number bit when I try to use it for gleam, so looks like twitter added conditions for gleam specifically.

However, supposedly you can contact twitter support to get them to remove the lock manually, according to comments on sg.
