Time for a Break from SG the Meta-game [Poll!] [No Puzzle] [Obligatory GAs]

So it finally happened. I might have gone insane in the last month, pushing hard for it... which kind of baffles me, because ... well that's a long story.

I joined Steamgifts to be a leech. That's most people so far as I know, and then something happens to us. We meet the people here, we hang out on the forums, and somehow over time, quite a few of us are affected by it. It may happen suddenly; it may happen slowly over time. A few really generous people show up and just give way more and that's just what they do. I didn't start that way. It's been a very interesting ride and it goes something like this.

Level 1 would get me access to more GAs. It only took one game.
Level 2 would do the same thing... Learned what bundled CV was.
Level 3-4: That was fun... Find some groups

Joined Several groups... the first group that took a chance on me was Touhou Giveaways! - All Hail Skynet Archibot!

Level 5 didn't take much more time. Neither did level 6 and 7 at the end of Nov. Though I was surprised that these achievements happened.

And then it was really and truly weird... Around December I came up on level 8 and decided I wasn't gonna try anymore.

Level 9 showed up up at the end of January. I was committed to not trying to get to level 10.

Then Level 10 this past Thursday or Friday of the third week of Febuary.

Somehow I went from wanting to leech to give away as much as I could and I can tell you my wallet hurts.

I've met a lot of awesome people here, made a lot of friends. Lost a few in the process too. Met some I'd like to get to know better, but schedules are weird things.
I can honestly still say that this is one of the most positive places on the internet I've ever patronized on a regular basis. Sure, we have some trouble-makers and trolls, and personalities that just don't quite get along, but that's just what life is.

Anyways, throughout all this, I've had some ups and downs and it's been very interesting. Don't worry, I'm not leaving... for good but I do need a break.
Just like many of the others who have taken one, I need one myself. I have personal issues I need to address both online and in the Real World.

Plus, I'm obviously a giving addict and I need to cut myself off from that for a bit, cause... I think my wallet is starving.

So, I've unsubscribed from all the GA threads in the various groups, and almost all my GAs have completed. A few need to be marked by lucky winners and one not so lucky winner who is in the hospital and I've spoken to personally. So, I'm leaving it there for when he can finally get out and go home. I will leave you with these last GAs, one of which really hurts as I want it, but this is my typical behavior and it's shared by most of the others here who are so generous. Give away what you want.... And I've given it once before, but to my brother-in-law.... >_<

I'd thank people for their time and make a list but, there are too many... And I'd miss someone... and then I'd feel bad. So to all of you, I thank you for being a part of this community with me. It's been a great experience one that I can't wait to get back to. Oh and I musn't forget the wonderful job Support does... putting up with all my tickets ;)
