You have a veeeery nice wishlist. Pretty much anything from there is probably worth going for if you have the money and the computer to run it.

Aww thanks! I have the PC to run them all, just need to save up money to start purchasing the games :D

I'm currently trying to get a job and maybe eventually afford an upgrade from my Radeon HD6450 GPU (I'm aiming for something around $200, maybe a GTX). If I ever manage to afford something good, deciding on a purchase will be a real pain since my knowledge about GPUs is pretty limited. ._.

I have a GTX 970, I built my PC when I was on a stable income... I was only in college... So I have a pretty beastly setup which is awesome so I can run 99% of games in ultra :D

Good luck on upgrading though<3

Edit: I recommend PC Part Picker, the forums are great with knowledge

Thank you for the recommendation about PC Part Picker. I've just looked around a bit and from what I've seen, the Sapphire Radeon NITRO R9 380 4GB is extremely appealing at $209.99. With taxes, it's roughly $225, which is a bit over my planned budget... but it really seems worth it.

Like I said though, I really don't know much about GPUs. Maybe that's a bad GPU and/or deal, I don't know. :P

You're welcome! What you should do is create your current build. Then go to the gpu section of the forum. Post your build and that graphics card and they will give you very good advice on it. I knew a bit about GPUs but I learned so much from the Partpicker community!

I would say go for some cheaper ones first like Transistor, Child of Light and Ori and the Blind Forest. Then GTA 5 and MGS 5.

Don't start with the AAA one, if it's open world it will consume your life.

Have you thought about trying out Saints Row 3 or 4? Open world and really funny over the top action. They're on a free weekend now. If you're quick you can finish one of them this weekend :)

Child of Light
Transistor
Ori and the Blind Forest

All extraordinary and beautiful games, and all under $20 each :)
The music in Transistor alone is worth the purchase. The art is amazing as well.
Child of Light is one of the most gorgeous games I've played recently, with a great story and art.
Ori and the Blind Forest tugs at your heartstrings within the first 10 minutes, and it quite the challenging metroidvania.

I think I will buy these games as soon as I can! I will wait for a sale as I'm sure they will all go on sale very soon!

Thank you for explaining why I should buy it! Its making me excited to play :D

I've reviewed all of them, Ori most recently. I think I need to update the other two. :P

Of the three, I'd get Transistor first.

Wow, those are some spendy, high-profile games on your wishlist! Here are my recommendations:

  1. Batman: Arkham City (I loved it! Wait for the games to go back on sale for $5, though!)
  2. Ori and the Blind Forest (I hear that it's incredible, and it's VERY high on my own wishlist!)
  3. Talos Principle is really good if you like puzzle games with a story, but it's awfully expensive ^_^;

Well, you do have it on your wishlist! And it'll be the cheapest 3 games of all ;)

But on a more serious suggestion, based on games I actually played or plan to play...
Transistor
Tales of Zestria
Child of Light

And I guess if you wanna add an AAA game to the list:
Fallout 4

Not so sure about Mad Max.... the movie's awesome, though.

Well I'm kinda late to the party, but maybe I can still just toss my 2 cents XD

  • there're few sites when you could get your steam games for less, as with life itself, nothing is risk-free, and if it was it, would be so boring!
  • Hard working Mrs right there! all that stuff and still find time and will to give to others, you put some of us in shame, and I'm not ashamed to say that, nor for any other nice and generous souls around here, even those on a stabbing spree! xd
  • The Talos Principle went 50 off like 2 days ago, 9.99 I think, you are def missing out that one! (no, I don't have it but I know about it too well)
  • Missed Ori and the Blind Forest; ;_; it went for 5 bucks cause of a price error and I missed it! so many great ratings!
  • Ditch CoDBOIII for later, you'll have PLENTY of chances to get it.
  • I have Rebirth but (somehow) haven't invested it's due time, shame on me! - I could FM it if you want to play it :)
  • Batman both Asylum and City went for 5 bucks goty editions, you should get it if you like the games!
  • Black Mesa is FREE on the website (tho outdated maybe, compared to the pricey steam version).
  • Layers of Fear, that's some tough chicken huh! XD this one isn't on my WL but totally should be!
  • I'm not even commenting on GTAV. Really, it's pretty clear what you should do when you have the chance

Many or most of those were bundled, you may want to bookmark HumbleBundle site, BundleStars and maybe Indiegala, you can create and manage wishlists and waitlists so they will email you when your selected wished game is on sale and discounted. Take advantage of these perks, achieve (do you love achievements, right? XD) best BANG for the BUCK or was it buck for the bang? XD jk

tip stab my virtual hat to you, Mrs Sadistic Chicken :)

Wow, thank you for this! I'm glad you came late or not! xD

I'm very cautious when it comes to those websites, but I'll keep my eye out for one! Seen people mention some on this site like G2A etc
Well I have a decent amount of games to play for now, so I'm happy to just give! I definitely don't put anyone to shame, majority of this site if filled with very nice and generous people. I cannot live up to that, but I will try my best <3
In terms of recent sales I've seen both Ori and The Talos Principle along with others on my WL go on sale.. However didn't have the money to buy it! ;__;
Yeah CoDBOIII isn't my top priority at all, played the beta anyway :P
I'll probably buy it in the next sale, but thanks for the offer :D
I recently traded Payday 2 for Asylum so soon I'll get City :D
Yeah someone mentioned it was free! Will have to look into that :P
I want to get more into horrors so I added a bunch that looked interesting to me xD
Is it clear? I have no idea what I should do hahaha

I've recently been checking them, probably should make an account for when I get real life moneynot just steam money and bookmark those xD

Thank you so much, you aren't on my whitelist for some reason... But I've added you now<3

Thank you, my pleasure!
yeah, g2a, cdkeys, hotrandomkeys, kinging, those have nice offers but since they are NOT official authorized resellers like GMG (GreenManGaming and others) they don't quite have the best "fame" around users. There's a list for "official" supported resellers, let's see if I can find it for you
Edit. think was this one, as always take it with a pinch of salt, just to be sure... :P
http://www.epicbundle.com/official-steam-reseller

You'd find people whom bought from one site or another and had no issues, and others whom had their keys removed, depending on the company behind it, like EA and Devolver, it was a pretty big mess back then.
Trading is a good option, but be extra careful; Steam took off the safety net so you're jumping that firering blindfolded :P

aight' going to bed now, GN all nice ppl of SG!

Wait for The Talos Principle to go on sale (it seem to be doing that relatively often). It dethrones Riven as my favourite puzzle-focused game. Heck, it's one of the best games I've ever played (not THE best game, but it's close).
