Hm well now that I've solved it, I can see there was lots of help, but I'm dumb and still had no idea. So I don't really wanna say anymore but there was definently a very helpful comment I read! There's still 2 hours left, you can do it.

I'm not holding my breath. I hope someone posts the solution so I can learn something but nobody seems to want anyone to learn their tricks. I want to be able to figure these puzzles out. I did pretty good except for whatever I was supposed to see on the last one.

Not sure I agree with that. Giving someone solution is not the same as giving them tool to find solution. May as well say giving man a fish is same as giving him fishing rod. I just really hope someone posts solution so I can see where I went wrong.

I just meant helping people over the hurdles is not the same as carrying them to the end.
I helped people along the way with hints in this and other puzzles but it's hard to help them to the end without spoiling the whole thing
People usually give away their thought process after the GA is over because it's allowed on SG and so that people can see what they missed. It's not like giving away the keys to the house because Tomas's puzzles are always different. It just helps seeing things a different way which is usually how the good puzzle solvers are efficient across different types of puzzles, and where I usually fail because I have trouble getting out of my perspective sometimes.

It feels good to be able to solve a good puzzle. At this point I don't even care about the giveaway, 1/100 chance? I don't have the points anyway. I might be silly and just go buy BG3 and do a little behind the back snicker at all the people who solved the puzzle. heheh

all the puzzle answers together is like a story 'tinker always paid debt' if you google it the top result is 'A Tinker's Debt is Always Paid: Once for a simple trade. Twice for freely given aid. Thrice for any insult made.'
but that's not how i found it, someone made reference to a book NoTW, i googled and found a book called name of the wind, i googled it's opening passages online and found the lines myself

That's actually pretty clever. Obviously it would help if you recognized the words were referring to something. I guess holding off to read NoTW because the trilogy isn't finished worked against me this time lol
