Horrible opinions? Many industries (including gaming, entertainment etc. and those surrounding it like journalism) need to collapse economically, and most people in charge should go bankrupt for all the bullsh*t they've been doing in the last decade.

I believe in freedom of consenting sane adults to do whatever they want, as long as it doesn't do harm to those, that don't consent, are not sane or are minors.

If you want to commit suicide, I may beg you not to do so, I may cry (this is my right, if I feel like crying), but if there is no other reason for which I would think you to be insane, I will not do anything against your will.

If people choose euthanasia over pain, it's nobody's business to try to stop them. Quite opposite: it's our moral obligation to help them to do this in a painless way. Sure, if they want our help, we can check beforehand, if their choice is "sane", we can ask them to talk with a shrink about this and then have to wait a week, but then it's their choice and their right. And this does not mean, that I would ever end my own life, unless it was necessary for the safety of others, but those are my believes, that apply to my life, not yours.

If you want to be eaten by a cannibal and you find a cannibal, that wants to eat you, no matter, that I would find it very disturbing, to say the least, it's still the matter just between the 2 of you, as long as this is your free choice.

So, yes, I believe in personal freedom... very much the wrong thing to do in those times, when we allow mass media to teach us was is and what isn't politically correct.

EDIT: Oh, yes, and I do believe in the right of parents to raise their children according to their believes, because WTH should the "enlightened society" believes be worth more, than theirs? And how could they convincingly pass to their kids any believes and system of values, if they were forced to teach them, what they don't believe in? So, as long as there is no sexual abuse or practices seriously threatening physical health of minors, let families live their lives according to their rules. Though I do also think, that children should have the right to divorce their parents and become the wardens of another chosen adult or of the state.

I find sports generally uninteresting and overrated but have been known to enjoy sports-based video games on occasion.

One truly horrible opinion of mine...is that Steamgifts threads should be kept to Game Related topics. There are enough trash-bait topics around here to bring truckloads of controversy-junkies into a state of ecstasy.

I hate when people say the dumbest stuff possible and just add "in my opinion" without any reason. Like for some reason, that makes everything okay and at the same time, want respect for that opinion. I understand that everyone can have their own opinion. But why does people think that everything they say is valid and deserve respect while completely ignoring what they said?

I can say something about anything with some good reasons as to why I think that. People will just reply that that's just my opinion and ignore all reason. Then they will say complete opposite thing, won't give any reason, say that's his opinion and thus for some reason I should respect it.

An opinion I hold thats with the times is that everything is politicised. Many people have no own opinion outside of what their political affiliation dictates, you are either a Trumptard bigot nazi conspiracy theorist or a Loony lefty TDS fascist. The vaccines are a great example. When Trump was president, one group of people didnt want the vaccine. Once Biden was in, the vaccine without question was suddenly a magical potion that was the difference between a virtuous hero and a selfish plague rat. Its still the same vaccine so if Trump would have won, many people that are now the big pharma Fauci worshippers would have been the "anti vaxers". Well, maybe its not a horrible opinion to the normies in the middle who clearly see the absurdness of it all, but otherwise I would have to +1 on the pineapple on pizza and I wanted to contribute something more "controversial" to feed those hungry blacklisters.

People shouldn't have the right to remove something they created from circulation after it has been released to the public, even if they own it, everything should be preserved for future generations regardless of the creator's desire. And no, perceived importance isn't a factor, all has to be preserved even if it's crap.

We are basically living the same life that people lived thousands of years ago and most technological advancements we have achieved are negligible.

I thought the Assassins Creed movie was a solid 7/10. I haven't really found the games to have a jaw dropping story or anything but rather a 'look at this famous person get assassinated' and it's exactly what the movie did. That being said they really could've increased the volume of voices, i have trouble understanding shows with loud voices without subtitles so this made the movie quite hard to follow. Action was good though.
