Well, that's all folks. As you can see on survivor2299 website, this was all a hoax. All I can say is that it was fun to watch this develop, and give credit to the maker of this for making it seem so believable. It's amazing how much free time some people have on their hands. Despair not, because we all know Fallout 4 is in development.

• Site is registered to ZeniMax Media (Bethesda is a part of ZeniMax)
• Date 2299 would place the game around 15-20 years after Fallout: New Vegas
• The Morse code playing on the page spells out 11.12.13. (11 December by Day/Month/Year date format), so we'll probably get more info during Spike Video Game Awards
• The site contains a script called fallout.js

My body is ready. Unless it's an iPhone game, MMO or MOBA. :P

Script also cotains /radio/bridgeport-5284ec0d1b93c.mp3 and /radio/fall-river-6191da7f11n.mp3, which may suggest that the game may be set around Bridgeport, CT and Fall River, MA.

Links to hidden images have also been found in the site's code, pointing at prepareforthefuture.com (which redirects to the official Fallout site.)

UPDATE 5 (Thanks to MegaGiga):

As The Vault reports, Bethesda has filed for Fallout 4 trademarks with the European Office for the Harmonization of the Internal Market. The filing shares Nice classes 9 and 41 with the filing for Fallout: New Vegas, which was made about four months before the teaser trailer was published.

Is this the same situation? Or is it just a gaming company covering its intellectual property hide? Mysteries.

This post pretty much confirms that this is real! :)

New text showed up on the teaser site:

"VGNR [CAP] - ***? - LET- GRZ XJG XRS FWZZR GOS UIEG SII GZVZI || GRZ SAW XRS SAZZ XJG DZVB GRZ XUJIZ"

Which translates to one two two seven two zero one three || one one two five two zero one three. Those can be interpreted as the dates 12/27/2013 and 11/25/2013.

Another Institute reference (the MIT of Fallout) and the introduction of something called Black Row. Nobody seems to have convincingly figured out what ‘TBNLS 5120′ means just yet.
