So what new games are you all looking forward to? Due to the fact Fallout 4 is being overhyped and has become really annoying and it's all anyone would talk about I will exclude it from this poll.

Im most excited about DooM. I love the original (110+ hours on steam) and hope it can replicate the feeling of it. Im building a $1000 PC so i can make sure it will run. This is also my first pc. I hope it doesn't blow up.

So vote away!

( No GA. Saving up for a PC. Sorry :( )

Edit: Irony hits. This thread was necrobumped and I love fallout 4. Past me is just salty.

Since Fallout 4 isn't being counted, I can only think of 3 4 games that im looking forward to.
The pc port for Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, the new Zelda game (whenever it'll be released..) and Cyberpunk 2077 (from the creators of the Witcher series). Oh, and Total War: Warhammer, of course :)

Of this year, no doubt, starcraft 2 LotV. At least it will be a proper starcraft with good story.
F4 will be post-apocalyptic skyrim. Which sucks pretty hard. No story, one-typed dungeons, half of the quests will be shitty etc.
Although waiting for X-Com 2 and Deus EX, but, tbh, dont expect them to be something really mindblowing. Just good games, nothing else. Other games from the voting list might not even get to that, though.

I can't believe that I forgot about this...

Stellaris.
4X Grand Strategy by Paradox Interactive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJYRLFvJVFg

It'll pretty much be Europa Universalis in space. And moddable. I expect that there'll be mods for all major scifi franchises within the first few weeks.

My answer is "none of those".
I'm more hyped to play Darkest dungeon for now, and waiting for Torment Numenera by the end of the year hopefully. All of the poll options are indifferent to me, except maybe xcom2.

Sick and tired btw of the so much milking that happens in each franchise again and again and again till kingdom come. Originality seems to be dead but at least we do have the indie scene for that and some kickstarter projects to be happy about.

DooM and Deus Ex have no form of milking. And Battleborn is a new franchise. Allot of AAA games arnt milked And the indie scene is the same thing when it comes to originality. Anime games or some typeof new RPG. With the exception of Battalion 1944. Just because Indie games are currently trendy doesnt make them better.

Yes I'm saying the exact opposite. Just because an AAA game gets franchised again and again that doesn't make it a better game either. :) Opinions opinions. xD I've playing indies for more than a decade, so the trend thing you mention means nothing to me. In any case let's agree to disagree.

Okay glad you arnt a hipster who IS against anything AAA. But when it comes to getting franchised it can lead to it getting polished over time like AC1 vs AC: Syndicate or CoD 1 Vs CoD: BO3. Their engines are more refined are general gameplay are enhanced overtime. Its like a trial thing they test something with a new game and see if it goes well. If it does they continue with it. Dont get me wrong i have nothing against indies. Sanctum 2 is one of my favorite games.
