I keep smashing my mining ship to pieces... stupid weak drill that I poorly mounted to my crappy mining ship.... I spent all that time making my capital ship... with functional docking bays....

Good luck and can quite understand the OP's point of view. However just to put forward another reason which may prevent instant play of a won game, and that is hard drive space. My laptop is 4 years old and only has a 500GB HD. I physically can't install all of my Steam library, even the bought games, at the same time. So what I do is try and finish or get bored of a game, then uninstall to make room for another. Doesn't mean I am not interested in the 'queued' stuff, far from it, I am dying to try some of them, but must just be patient.
That said, I do only try to enter here for games I would definitely play.

Space Engineers - (Recommended) Hard Drive: 5 GB available space
Its just 5 gb, heres my PC:
i5-4460
gtx 750 ti
8gb ram
460GB Hdd
And its enough for my library to install the best games, currently I have ~200 GB still left.

Oh, that makes sense now :( but anyway, you'll still be able to install space engineers, so don't miss the chance :)

I feel ya, but not like he's changing games constantly, I'm talking like 2000+ hours and counting of csgo and 600+/500+ hours of other shooters. Obviously not interested in the game at the moment at all (I have a lot of games on my backlog, but if someone requested me not to enter if i had no interest in playing yet, i would not enter anything right now, cuz im trying to 100% bloons). Oh and my PC is 5 years old with 500GB hdd - i just cycle thru my games when I get tired. Fortunately most games I play are light, the biggest ones being Assassin's Creed games; but ya lol I was down to ~9GB free the other day; had to clear some things out.

Looks awesome game, popular, at least it isn't dead, has coop and it is sandbox, most of useful reviews have few hundred hours played, seems like my type of game, would definitely play it, love sandbox building games, especially survival and coop, nice graphics, seems like you can also fight and destroy, which is awesome :)

Actually at first, not me, but my friend is interested in Space Engineer. He has followed it since last year but since we're students we dont have money to buy it. He keeps bugging me about sales time, "when will the game sale off god dammit" so on and so on. And then I started to do research about this game. At first it lookes like Star Craft to me, but with further investigation I found a lot of interesting stuffs. Too bad we missed the sale at 24 Dec last year and this summer sale, and more tragicly, when it appeared in HB bundle our cards were confiscated, so neither of us could secure a copy. As time passes the more I want this game, to show off with my good friend and share with the poor guy, to have fun times together.

I already have it so obviously not entering, just leaving a post to give a free bump for a fantastic game. Anyone who enters and manages to win this, it really does deserve to be played to death.

my brother plays this 24/7. I probably know more about the game than some people who have hundreds of hours on it, since he seems to believe I want to know literally everything about it and all the tiny updates that get made.
It does seem to get near universal love though. Is it that great? Am I missing something amazing by being turned off the game because my brother talks about it constantly?

I have wanted this game so long, Most of my friends have it and I might even buy it, I would love to be Abel to play this with some friends, so let's hope you give me a chance to win this game!
Edit : did I not convince you? D:
Second edit: Oh, sorry, I had medivel engineers in wishlist, not space, sorry! :(
Third edit: I just checked, I do, you can look to see when I added it in.

these games are always unfair comparisons, people that play these games pretty much only play these games. looks over at bf's log of over 1,000 hours on Dota 2

I remember it having a free weekend and building a spaceship with my brother and crashing it on an asteroid, was pretty fun and we didn't have time to repair the ship since the Free Weekend ended, 0/10 would not crash our spaceship again.
Now that I look at my wishlist, the game has been there since it came out on the Steam Store.

Hello buddy! :)
I have waaaay more than 25 games in my wishlist, but it's because I use to keep track of games that look interesting.
To be honest, there's currently only one game that I'm waiting for a sale to buy at the moment: Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin.
I considered not entering because I usually play these games with friends, I get bored easily with sandboxes when playing alone, but I love Spaaaaace!, and just checked and some friends do have that game, even my current Terraria buddies, so I will have company to play the game.
So, yeah. Let's try this again xD

I absolutely love sandbox games, many of my friends have the game and are always telling me to get it but unfortunately I haven't had the money to pick it up. I love other sandbox games like Life is Feudal, ARK: Survival Evolved, and even DayZ mod (where building is actually a thing, and love futuristic games like Elite Dangerous. This just seems like quite the interesting mix and I'd definitely play it a bunch with my friends if I had it.

Giveaway here:
http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/dWg58/space-engineers
Alright, so I had created a giveaway a few days ago with the following text in the description:
Please only enter if you're really interested in playing - I would have activated it myself if I wanted it to be just another game in a library.
Cheers,
BM
P.S.: final half an hour for those (if any) uninterested to withdraw their entries, better do so if you would like to remain in my whitelist
The winner activated the game 5 days ago and still has 0 hours of playtime while the playtime of some other games on his/her account has been constantly rising.
This aggravated me a lot so I bought another tier 3 bundle with the intention of giving away space engineers. However, in order to avoid the above from happening again, the rules have changed.
I'm going to clear out my whitelist (with the exception of a few personal friends) and recreate my whitelist giveaway. However, this time, in order to qualify, you must have had the game in your wishlist for at least 2 weeks (I will check the date added, latest can be July 16th). Also, you cannot have more than 25 items in your wishlist (this is to avoid traders who add every single game to their wishlist).
If you don't meet the criteria above you still have a shot at the game but only if you manage to convince me that you are genuinely interested. I'm only doing this so that someone who really wants but can't afford the bundle can get a shot at the game. I didn't activate the first copy that I bought for precisely the same reason. Please be considerate.
Cheers
B.
