A person registered as an entrepreneur - what is it, a person or a store?
However, it may partner with publishers or other stores. So, you're still not quite right.
The legislation is quite varied and the sale of keys by one person can also be legal (although it probably depends on the country where the seller is located).

It is not illegal in my country nor in the EU. As a citizen in the EU, you are the sole owner of any purchased digital goods regardless of their license. You are free to do whatever you want with the asset after you've purchased it. If, however, there is proof that you are right, please share more information as I would like to know. Simply throwing accusations is not going to help me.
Thanks!

I believe some of the places just have like a checkbox about the VAT (considering you are in the EU that should apply to you too ) ...
Now do you choose to actually check that or try to save up on the tax is on you but you might get in trouble if you dont do so .
I never actually sold keys so i cant really tell you for sure tho , i remember it was the case when i was buying a key some time ago tho ,

I believe is less about the key themselves and more about the earning money by selling something, I do not live on EU nor do I know of their tax law, but, I'd consider selling keys the same as having a garage sale.
Here, you'd put that on Occasional Income, since it's not really a job, nor is it stable by any means.

It's up to the selling platform as they're the intermediaries between you (the seller) and the buyer to deduct the applicable sales taxes and transfer them to the tax authorities. Although you have to be rather delusional to think a single cent of the proceeds will reach the tax coffers of your country.
If you don't belong to the top sellers with a few hundred thousand keys sold I wouldn't lose much sleep over the income tax question either. Tax authorities in EU countries are understaffed and the people working there have more pressing matters to solve like the ongoing CumEx scandal for example.

Thanks a lot to all of you for the info! Closing this one <3
