According to you, what's the correct price for January Choice?
Comment has been collapsed.
The answer is free. They come from parts of the world where piracy and free access to digital products are normal. Even when they have their own income, they're so stubborn in their entitled mentality that any price offends them. You can witness this behavior in every humble choice thread with "not worth it" comments.

A real shame. I'm from a country with a low power of purchase and high piracy culture (Brazil), even so I think that when a person starts to have their own income, they should pay for what they enjoy if is not available for free somehow and it has a fair price. I believe this is a great sign of evolution within yourself and that you should value other people's work. Karma exist and no matter how rich a person becomes, he will continue to have a pig spirit as long as he has poor attitudes, and this will turn against him.

No need to be this condescending. Sometimes the bundle simply does not have any interesting games for someone. Whether it costs 5 bucks, 10 bucks, 50 bucks, you are buying something you wont play probably ever. In that case why should this person get the bundle? Becuase objectively it has good value? What is the point of buyng something which will sit in the library never played? When this is the case, the bundle really is "not worth it".

If we're talking about neutral grounds or even Humble's official forum, then you are right. But even then, "not worth it" is a strong remark that influences everyone reading it. What's wrong with "not interested" or "I'll pass"? Why devalue something so casually with unrealistic expectations?
But in this case, trying to justify anything is pointless. We're on a giveaway site where people enter for everything that shows up on the front page, where people claim "I bought it for charity" and then enter for those same games found in the bundle, where people call game a shit or worthless and still enter giveaways for that game, etc.

All this babbling because of an arguably strong remark that claims it's not personally worth it. Stop playing the semantics game and accept the fact the exact reasoning is unknown to you guys. If a piece of information is unavailable to you, you withdraw your judgment and not double down on having a moral high ground.
''According to you, what's the correct price for January Choice?''
This was a valid question and only one person asked it. Maybe he wants a few but is able to get them cheaper (hence why Humble is all over the resellers) or can trade for them.
"Or... it's just poor wording. It's hard to see how you're faring any better than the people you're criticizing so strongly. Those were some harsh remarks, and the guy has an impressive library that you cannot logically build for free.

I have 7k games in Steam library, still have plenty to play and i am not interested in single game in this month, so i would use all games in giveaways, so probably 5$ and less.
if there is something interesting, i dont mind to pay full price for monthly

With an annual sub, multiple genres I'm interested in and many groups I care for I'm quite lenient about monthly worth, but that still makes sense. It's more of an issue with people who like a game, but only want to pay sub $1 for them, in a premium bundle. Everyone has the right to refuse any deal, but there's a limit to what's realistic.

I would suggest checking the subscription page - I just checked it and it was active, showing autobill for today.
Just to be sure I checked my billing history - when I paused it on January 7th it shows "Paused membership", but the actual choice was still active. I tried to pause again and now it shows "Paused membership" on today and additionally "skipped a month" there as well. I am not sure if I did something wrong initially, was it a glitch or anything, but even though I skipped in the beginning of January, it was still active today.
PS. no, I was not skipping December choice, since I did buy that.

Oh, you are right.
Hm, now I am not sure :D I am pretty sure it was showing that my next payment will be today, hence quickly pausing again.
Anyway - now it does show that autocharge will happen on 25th of February as it should show up. Before that something had glitched and it was initially showing there is an issue with retrieving payment history or something like that (and same as in screenshot it didnt show it had actually skipped the month, but had paused membership)
So either way maybe its worhtwhile to check up again for those who skipped.

I am not sure if I did something wrong initially, was it a glitch or anything,
It's a known bug (or perhaps, if you're inclined to be more suspicious, it may even be a deliberately exploitative practice), I've been autocharged in the same manner before (after having checked pause status multiple times prior). Humble'll be ridiculous and try to push aside the responsibility by hurumphing over how you should be glad they're willing to offer a refund, but they'll nevertheless refund it if necessary (or at least, that seems to be their approach thus far).
For this particular month, looks like it DID try to charge me (been paused since the start of the month and have checked it repeatedly since), but despite my payment method still being active, it ran into a payment error for it. So definitely inclined to take this one as a clear bug, even if the previous issues were perhaps not entirely certain as being such (what with how manipulative that pause menu is, it being deliberate would definitely be to form. :P).

You didn't do anything wrong, Lilly would link to the leaks in the main post but I just didn't feel like it

I skipped January and a few minutes ago I accidentally noticed my status is "active" again. So it "unskipped" without my knowledge.
I even checked my email and there is a message from 7th Jan confirming my skipping so I was not mistaken. How is that possible? I have a gift plan so I am not charged but still want to skip bad months. I was lucky I discovered it minutes before new month...

NOTE: Skipping lasts for 1 month at a time. After that month has been skipped, you will resume and be set to receive the next month of Humble Choice.
Skipping a month of your membership must be done before the last Tuesday of the month if you don't want to be charged for the current month of Humble Choice.

Don't know if it's a mistake, but I'm seeing 2 origin keys on February's bundle. I know Immortals is an EA game, but Total war is a Sega game, so it's a bit weird.

Ok cool. I noticed it also doesn't list an expiry, whereas all the other origin keys have had one.
