Ok. The hints are up. I was wondering whether or not I should give the theme but I already gave a few hints in that direction and it seems that most did not have trouble finding it, so I will not do it. Or maybe I will later. If you do have trouble finding the theme even if you got some answers right then leave a comment saying so. There was some error with the hint for Question 4 of Part 1, I could have sworn it worked correctly when I checked the solution before, but anyway, it has now been corrected.

2 madmen reached the grand prize! With the currently available hints even sane people should be able to do it!

The hints were not enough to save me, still stuck on 2.4 and 3.1... :(

So it seems that the ITH and my extra hints for 3.1 aren't enough. I'll make it clearer. If you wish to understand the hint for that question you should revisit the entire puzzle. And you WILL hate me when you find the answer.

Is the occasional misspelling a hint or just typos?

this is terribly demoralizing. if my assummptions are correct then i do not want the games and am not eligible for them anyways due to CV. i solemnly swear that i will not input any answers given to me; but i gotta know.

Does anyone else find it funny that the only two solvers for 3 did it before hints?

Like I said, if you wish to see what the hint for 3.1 is then you should check the rest of the puzzle. You might notice some patterns you missed before. The hint will help you figure out what the "kind" of the answer is but will not help you beyond that. Judging by a comment or two, it would seem that some people had the right thought on this one. For the rest you need the question. Look at the question, now back at me, now back at the question, now back at me! That question is an anomaly in two ways; it may fit the language theme of the puzzle but unlike the others it is not the SPOILERS of a certain word and instead describes some property/use of the answer. The second anomaly is that it is a dishonest/trolling question. If you know this and the "kind" of the answer then you should be able to figure it out once you quickly go through a list of the possible answers. The hint, once figured out, will give the latter to you.

I've been losing sleep over this, and when I do sleep I dream about getting the right answer! :p I probably already have the games, because I have the first two, but I really want the satisfaction of solving the puzzles!

Starting to wonder why I keep trying puzzles, someday I should realize my mind does no work like most people's mind ^^
