Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: EA on-line activation and Origin client software installation and background use required.
Requires 3rd-Party Account: EA Account (Supports Linking to Steam Account)
Requires agreement to a 3rd-party EULA
They increased prices by over 300%, and you still need to run the game through Origin with an Origin account anyway, so there's no benefit to buying it on Steam.
Cheaper to buy the games on Origin and add them to your Steam library as a Non-Steam game.
Also be careful with Dragon Age 2. It's pretty broken on modern systems, you need to run in DX9 mode otherwise the textures stop loading.

Well, at least in Germany the prices are the same or only a little bit more expensive. And don't forget that EA has to pay around 25-30% to Steam. So it is just fair, if the games are a little bit cheaper on Origin. There are still some players out there, who just want to buy on Steam. So it is a nice offer for them.

i totally agree with you on this point, even tho i need to use origin i really like to have all the games i actually play to be on one launcher to start them from, collect ingame hours and achievements (even tho they totally need to add those to steam)

I would love to know if the steam overlay is working with these games.

... Man, you'd think EA would do better here with their big reveal after six months of making folks wait. So this whole shindig was announced literally back in early October of 2019. They had not only the time but the feedback in both forums, twitter, and even their discord to set this right. Allow people to "port" their games over by allowing access which they already do with certain EA titles. Allow achievements to be read. Allow DLC to be merged. This would easily allow people to buy DLC on Steam {causing EA to lose about a buck or two, but still make 7} compared to the 0 they wouldn't make because their items are so hard to procure in certain countries.

Here's the info for EA access: https://www.ea.com/news/ea-games-come-to-steam

Still no Dead Space 3? And none of them have achievements .... meh i'm not interested

I think they have Origin achievements but not Steam achievements. I played Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Fe, Unravel, Unravel 2, and Sea of Solitude and they all popped achievements as I played them on Origin Access.
It also looks like all my achievements disappeared for them when my Origin Access expired. They no longer show as "current games" in my achievements list on Origin.

If I own the full editions on Origin, can I activate those keys on Steam?
If not, why would I buy them on Steam if they dont even integrate the games properly, like with achievements and such.

I spent a lot of money getting all the DLC for Dragon Age (all 3 games) and ME, I`ll definitely wont do that again, thanks for your answer!

A really good game.
Glad that I picked it up before they removed it.
Also would like to see the first part on steam, but that's probably not going to happen :'(

I use the paid version with a stricter handling as the standard settings.
Maybe one of it is the reason for that.
The stricter handling is sometimes annoying because of the URL reports but i never had some bad redirecting stuff since i use it that way. And to delete the info/warning is only one click needed. So first worl problems ;o)

That could be, so it could also be a false positive, but better safe than sorry. :)
But I have unlocked the first game within the second a few years ago. I just don't know on which site I found the info - but it looked the same; I also recognized the link to the needed files.
I also found the game itself on an abaondonware site, but I don't know if it's legit to post it here.

I know there's already a thread created about this here but oh well, here's a table :P
According to EA, there will be more games (25+) added to the list that is coming to Steam, so stay tuned! :DOther notable EA games with big discounts you might be interested in:
Chart created with Lex's SG Chart Maker
The games have just been released so ratings/reviews might be inaccurate.
From what I can see, all discount offers will be available until 10 July, so take your time :)Forgot to do a poll on this one :(
If you're going to buy the games, please note that the prices (w/ discount) in the Origin launcher is still cheaper, and they still need Origin as a 3rd party launcher as well. Also, maybe look here and in the comments for more info about pricing.
