I only played the farcry instincts demo, it was fun to play split screen when friends were over, never played the full game though. And I want to wait until farcry 3 comes out to see if it's an original & creative game or just another call of duty rip off. The multiplayer of it is definitely a call of duty rip off though.

I love Far Cry 2 its so real!
But I hate spawning of Enemies over and over...

Well, the multiplayer for instincts was back when the xbox was old, and this was much less realistic but way more fun, also the level editor was so that people were able to create their own game-modes, however in farcry 2 the multiplayer became much more restrictive and boring, as did the level editor. I think too many games companies focus on graphics capabilities instead of gameplay. In FC instincts people used to make 1000's of very sophisticated puzzles and obstacle courses thanks to the way that the engine was built. However in FC2 this was not possible. Hopefully though, they will use their heads and implement parts from FC instincts and FC2.

a loy of people hated FC2 because it had nothing to do with the first one, but i hadn't played the first one so i liked it, it's no goty, but it had some good ideas like the buddies system

Well FC instincts was such that people were able to create cops and robbers games and survival games and puzzle maps, although there was no gamemode creation tool, the engine allowed for it as long as all players used a MIC and co-operated, which more often did happen, largely like gmod however in FC2 there was little way that this could happen due to many restrictions.

I love Far Cry 1 - completed 8x siungleplayer + some mods, MATTO series and stuff
Far Cry 2 is bullshit, nothing to do with Far Cry.

It was so much better when it was in the tropical setting ;P even if the engine and the gameplay is completely different, which probably is the case, as I think they are using the FC2 engine, its still cool that it is back in the original setting :P

I got FC2 with some coals... haven't play it.

Far cry 2 is so freaking damn awesome. If you're looking for a good openworld realistic shooter with a story and vehicles (and guns), this game is for you.

I played 1&2 far cry. I don't know why u hate second cry. I think all Far Cry (including Far Cry 3) awesome games.
