Curly on a food is always a bad thing. At the moment you notice it you just start to wonder how it got there and if it really is what you think it is.

finding one your own hair in food is an annoyance but, but you know where its from - no biggie ... same if its cooked by people you know;
foods in restaurant or fast food however ... fucking hell ... if its not an obvious hair resembling the ones from the noggin

Gross. If I want to be picking short and curlies out of my teeth (and I have on many an occasion), it's by choice and I know who it came from.

I once found a wasp in my fish and chips. Took it back to the shop and the manager picked out the wasp, tossed it and said "What wasp?".

Reported it to the environmental health department of the local council, and next time I passed that way the takeaway had been closed down.

To be fair, some people have very tightly curly/nappy hair atop their head. And curly-haired people tend to have curly beards as well. I am myself curly-haired and my own beard hairs, when they come out, look suspiciously like... other... hairs.

Not that it makes it any less unappetizing to find a hair in your food. But there is at least a chance it wasn't what you think it was. :P
