I managed to get 151 in Pokemon Red. Was so damn hard to get it legit (without Missingno) and I had to "borrow" my friend's Pokemon Yellow "a few" times.

EDIT: I'm not making it a goal, but a few of my friends like to make a 100% Pokédex, including all gender, shiny, mega, mode, style, pattern, etc. for every pokémon. Now THAT'S insane.

I love pokemon I finished my shiny dex some months ago (all 721) x 2 (in Sapphire and in X) So I have two complete shiny dex
Also have all shiny unown & vivilions (I know I was really addicted to pokemon)
The new pokemon will be released soon (sun & moon) I hope

:) I got to get them all. First it was the normal dex, when I had that I wanted the shiny dex
Now that I got it all, there is no purpose for me to play anymore
Both boxes in both games are full and also the pokebank is full, so no more room for new pokemons. Couldnt even get the free giveaways from Nintendo

hehe yeah I know. Hatched a lot of eggs to get most shinies and traded shinies for legendaries so a lot of time wasted :)

I traded also a lot through the GTS, you need a lot of legendaries for this to work
(trade starters for legendaries then trade legendaries for shinies thats the trick)

i was the first in my school to complete the pokedex with the first generation games, 150 pokemon. I should add it in my CV. I have X even if I am still at around 400 but i am planning to get them all, sooner or later. btw congrats!!

I didn't know it had a name but I've tried to do this since the late GBA days. Got tired of having to re-catch/train the low/middle guys.

in Black? Not really. There is a slightly better chance with breeding, using Masuda method. Thats all. Everything I have brought from Black was shiny Pidove I found completely randomly.
I enjoy hunting shinies in X and Omega Ruby atm. Its kinda easy, but still can be time consuming a lot. I have spent around 4 days trying to get shiny Wobbuffet T_T

I finally finished my Living Dex getting all 720 Pokémon. it wasn't easy, but Wonder trade and with the help of friendly other players I managed to even get some events. So damn happy about it, first time I tried this and don't know if I will do it again in Sun/Moon, depends on the game!
