So I have Playstation and League of Legends gift cards. Can I trade them here for steam gift cards and steam items?

But like, is there a way that I can trust them and they can trust me so that I can either give them the code first or they can trade me their items first?

That's probably impossible, you know, no one is gonna trust you if he doesn't know you IRL.

Sadly no. But I would advise only go first if the person has high reputation(the green number next to names in trades) which will help prove if hes legit or not and always read the negative reviews if any. Also shouldn't be a deal breaker if someone has negative rep since every so often if you piss off a moron in the forums they mark you negative rep like someone did to me and still waiting for it to be fixed but going to take sometime like 5 more months.

Also check how old user is. Older the more likely he will be legit and more games they gave away the more likely he or she won't scam you.

yes, contact a user with a lot of positive reputation (my suggestion is a user with 250 or more) and try to convince him to be a middleman, he will hold any steam tradable items and give the code to the interested user which will check if the code is legit
if the code is legit and everything works fine from BOTH sides the middleman will give you the tradable items promised
remember that middlemans are hard to find and most of high rep users refuse any middleman requests to avoid any kind of "colateral negative feedback" so i'm not sure if there are users doing that for free
you can try the steamrep recommended middlemans that are the list of users with most positive feedback in middleman services but i'm not sure if they will do it at the moment because there's probably a lot of people asking them for help

Trades are limited to the trades section of the site, and should not be posted in giveaways or on the forum.

You can trade your house in the Trade section if you want to :)

But as people said be carefull ... since you are new to the whole trading thing ... people might ask you to go first tho ...
Check the profile of the guy you are trading with , if it looks suspicious better dont risk it :)

Guys, I just learned a huge lesson today. TRUST NOBODY ON THE INTERNET. This guy called Mabel on steam, his real account is Spider something, he was level 16 with over 540 hours in CSGO, he has many items, many pages with +rep, and many high level friends, so i thought he was trustworthy. It turned out that he just took my 100$ league of legends cards, blocked me and unfriended me. I know i was being stupid, trusting him like that but I didn't know people would do stuff like that without feeling guilty or anything. I hope other people learn from me

did you add him from this site or just as a guy on steam?

Just as a guy on steam. First this guy messaged me for LoL cards and someone else added me, who is a friend of that first guy. So I thought he was somewhat trustworthy and that happened.

rep on a steam profile sadly means nothing.

rep on steamgifts means a bit more (citation needed)

Yea, and its possible that the first guy was also part of it since he told me that Mabel offered him a trade before, but I don't want to make any false accusations and mention his name

Sucks what happened to you. Only trade with people who have posted in your topic that you added yourself. It makes things a bit safer.

If I had much to offer, I'd post in your topic about the PSN credit, but I only have bundle keys (admittedly a lot of them, but still nothing that you want), plus I'm not certain I could use them on my US created account. Already have a NZ, US and JP account, wouldn't want to make another. :P

Edit - Yeah, would need yet another account for them, too much effort. :P

Yea, I definitely learned my lesson this time. I was being so stupid. Well, if you ever want to trade, message me, but it feels hard to trust people after this.

Well, I'll send you a friend request. Maybe I can toss you some of the mentioned games to help make you feel better despite the poor luck.
