Only Ultima Online and World of Warcraft managed to keep me entertained for so many years. UO, however, is king. No other MMO had so much content as Ultima, it had that sandbox-ish freedom that no other Multiplayer game can offer. The feeling of crafting your own stuff, building your own house anywhere, taming wild ostards... it brings tears to my eyes. ; - ;

+1 :D
It's used to be amazing game even without premium membership. Now it's different game and all the best things disappeared from that somehow...

I -tried- Mabinogi, didn't much care for it. Then, when trying MMOs again, discovered I already had a Mabinogi account. My character, as it happens, -aged- rather significantly, and was suddenly level 14 in a level 3 zone.

I have a very short experience with Tibia, I logged in, in the first 5 minutes I met a person that I think was lvled up a bit, started swearing in my own language towards me with names and such, answered: "oh ok thx for letting me know i don't want to start the game", he started blubbing srry, stay etc., logged out, the end.

My first time playing tibia was at my friend's house. I made an account, logged in, played with him 10 minutes or so, and then he asked me:"So... are you enjoying the game?" Then, politely I said:"Uh... Yes, I think so... however, there's something wrong with your speakers, I can't hear the sfx" He promptly said: "Tibia has no sfx, bro." We both loled for 2 min or so, I logged out, and never came back. I still cannot understand how people could play such a crappy MMO, while there were so many better options back then.

My first was also Lineage 2. I started much earlier, in Chronicle 3 tough. :)
I also have it boxed, I bought the collectors edition from eBay quite a while ago ;)
It's also my favorite game up to the Interlude patch, after that it just went meh... and with Kamael they killed it totally...
But there is hope, they started a Classic server in Korea in June. I'll go back if they bring that to the US servers. (Yes, I play on the US servers, as some of the current ones were the original European ones. And the current European version is freemium...)

It was World of Kung Fu. I really enjoyed it and when I played it, I was really young.^^
I was horrible at speaking English and I made so extreme silly things. Like the most of the MMORPGs, it had a real money currency. I joined a clan and checked the storage of it and suddenly 350 coins (or whatever it was called) of the real money currency appeared. I instantly took it and I instantly got kicked. I didn't care much and I wanted to buy a special mount, I could even afford several of these. I wanted to buy one for me and my friend, but I thought there would only be one in stock (it was not the case, obviously, the market had infinite mounts to buy of course). Nevertheless, I bought one and saw, I could buy another one. My friend and me were happy and everything was OK.
We met some other German people and we became 'friends'. I was the first doing the silly thing. The 'friends' asked to borrow the mount and I gave it to him as I thought he would give it back. That wasn't the case... xD
And even though I told this my real friend, he did the same and none of us got the mount back. lol^^
Yeah, that's the story and I think it was the punishment for stealing the coins.
The funny thing is, after we lost our mounts, I was so sad that I tried to do the same to others. I went to random people with a mount and asked them if I they can borrow me their mount. They never did... :( XD

I think both my first AND my most favourite MMO was World of Warcraft :)
Although I might have played Lineage first and then jump into WOW, I'm really not sure about that as it was a really long time ago.

Well first was Ultima Online, followed by Ragnarok online and WoW. These are the only three MMOs that I actually put some time into and played for more than a few years..... Damn, I feel old now .....
My fav would be Ragnarok online(played for 8 years or so).

So what's your first and/or favorite MMO that you have played.
Mine was Lineage 2: TC 1,5 and I absolutely loved it (though I played at private server), I even have boxed copy of the game :)
Lost ~3 years of life on it, then Kamael happened and after 2 or so major patches I thought that the game lost it's charm.
Later I tried to get hooked up on WoW and other MMO's but it was not the same experience.
With all that said Lineage 2 was my first and still a favorite MMO game, I even think of trying it again but I'm not sure how it would feel after so long + I still need to finish studies, so I can't be a hardcore no-life x)
