So I've checked how much I have spent on Trading Cards

Just buy cards cheap and sell them right back at market value. I did that for awhile and made close to $100 as well. Gets kinda boring and is silly to do as I make money much faster with my real job but it was fun for a bit just to play with the market, plus I crafted a handful of badges for free. I got my seed money selling some duplicate portal cards so I never had to put any real money in.

How did you got the cards for cheap? on the same Steam market? did you reload the page until someone listed a card for cheap and you purchased it? LOL

Yes, that's exactly what I did. Was a bit easier before though because tons of people would post them dirt cheap not knowing what they were really worth. It still happens now but much less.

The time spent idling? Seems about as much as anybody else in the trading card program. All my profit came from selling cards I obtained, I didn't buy from the market to resell. Of the 44 games in the trading card program, I own 40 of them.

i had somewhere around $1 in my steam wallet when i got in the trading cards beta, and now i have 53¢. so i guess i spent somewhere around 50¢ taking into account what i've made selling cards for games i don't like and selling backgrounds and emoticons. i actually kept one background because why not i guess, and i have 2 things up for sale currently. i need to get back over to steamtrades and update my trading games for cards thread -- i'm only two badges away from level 20 and i'd appreciate the bonus to booster drop chance.

Well, the history thing shows all my sells in different currencies so it's gonna be kinda hard for me to figure out how much I got/lost by selling and buying cards...
Let's just assume I didn't lose anything in the long run.

EDIT: Ah, you mean ONLY buys... well, in that case... 9.85£... O_o
