Couldn't really play many video games this year. As for upcoming, it's:

Sword of the Sea
SiN Reloaded
Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken
DOOM: The Dark Ages
Judas
Atomfall

I haven't really expected any games this year, but for the upcoming 2025, Die in the Dungeon and Slay The Spire 2.

I honestly no idea what came in 2024 that I was looking forward to.
but there are 2 things in 2025(I think both are intended for 2025...)
To Kill a God and <No steam Link yet> The next Nekopara installment, sure the sister is playing a part in it, but more nekos is always a good thing

I was most looking forward to Portal: Revolution and it delivered!

For next year, I'm the most excited about Skyblivion. Let's see if it really releases! 😅

This year i was just glad that ready or not has been pached so my toaster can now run it... at least until a new patch ! ^^
Next year i was waiting for kingdom come 2, but then the system requirements hey won't be before 1 or 2 more years i think.
But even if my current PC can't handle it, i think that it will be the goty 2025.

Gothic remake, already ordered collectors edition from THQ in April.

I wasn't looking forward to any specific game but when I played Metaphor: Refantasio's demo, I became really pumped.
For 2025, I'm looking forward to Weappy's games: Hollywood Animal and The Eternal Life of Goldman.

Monster Hunter wilds for sure and I'm still on the copium that we'll get silksong news soon

I'm still holding out for Half-Life 3. It will come one day, I know it.

Other than that, Borderlands 4. They absolutely nailed the gunplay in BL3 in my opinion, everything from pistols to rocket launchers was so enjoyable to use, although snipers were very underpowered (I used a mod to fix that). If BL2 had the gunplay of BL3, it would be the perfect story-driven looter shooter. All they have to do for BL4 is get rid of the tik-tok humour and "villains" targeted at 10 year olds, and either introduce the hopelessness or semi-serious topics slightly hidden behind a mask of ridiculousness like in BL1 and 2.

Star Wars Outlaws - Haven't bought, will look to getting probably above 55%+ off.
Star Trucker - Haven't bought
Metaphor: ReFantazio - Preordered/bought, currently unfinished, probably about 20%-ish done. Dig the music. Mostly shelved as I focus on completing Kingdom Come: Deliverance before sequel releases early February 2025
Card-En-Ciel - Came outta nowhere to be a preorder buy. Demo good. Incredible soundtrack/music, should've been nominated for awards somewhere. Addicting gameplay.
Beastieball - First week discount purchase early access buy. Have only played demo for around 37+ hours. Bought game on the strength of the demo. Charming game, lot of heart. Haven't played early access version because again, focusing on KCD 1...

Looking forward to in 2025:
Hollywood Animal - Updated demo dropped 9-ish hours ago. Early access drops February 2025, my #1 most wanted 2025 game.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - Probably gonna preorder. Also February 2025, that month is packed with anticipated games.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - Unsure about 2025 release, but yeah.
The Bustling World - See above
Billie Bust Up - See above

None, pretty much. I am open to new games however if i seem to like them. I bought Silent Hill 2 Remake which i am satisfied with yet. Right now i want to save up for a PS5 Slim Disc Edition (would never ever buy digital edition).
