this is my computer, is it good?

Edit: noticed it is the wrong one I linked

Edit2: maybe it is the right link... Just go on that ATM

Edit 3: After some thought, and looking at my computer, it is that, but everything upgraded, I could not find the proper link

Its good, but if you want to run games at high settings you'll need a dedicated videocard

CPU is acceptable.
Graphics card is balls.
RAM is acceptable.
Monitor will likely be balls and have high response time/input lag.
Wireless KB and mouse will be frustrating if you play games which require fast responses.

Is it good? Depends what you want to play.

That monitor might not be the best, but HP actually has some great monitors.

This is pretty accurate, although I think 8gb of RAM is more than enough nowadays (hopefully in a single stick, but coming from HP I doubt it).

Monitor should be 60 Hz and 1 or 2 ms at least, and about the wireless KB and Mouse... unless you want to do some competitive gaming you should be fine.

Is it good for gaming? No*, not with that integrated GPU... you might want to consider to make a custom build, if you think it's much of a hassle then pay someone else to put it together for you (such as NCIX, there has to be something like it in Britain) and you might save some money and get better specs.

  • Technically it does depends what you want to play, if you want to play games older than 2008 or with low requirements (such as mobile ports like Plants vs Zombies) then you'll be fine. The actual Humble Bundle tier 1 will run fine I guess! (Duke Nukem and old school badass games).

For gaming? Not really. You can't do much gaming on an integrated GPU.

I'd rather build one with at least an i5 and a better gpu. Just buy the parts on newegg or a site like that and you will build something better for the same or even less money.

No, for this price not is good computer. Never buy HP computers and any desktop of any assembly (Alienware too) please.

Relative to the computer, only have "decent" cpu and ram, an apu is better for games front of your computer and costs less, but if you want play, buy a dedicated graphic card you can play better.

It's worse than a very low end Gaming PC. For less money you could build a much better PC, with much better quality. For same money you could build a medium or even medium-high Gaming PC.

Well if you want to buy a pc it much better to build it yourself.
If you think it hard, think not cause you can always Google and there are tones of "building pc" videos.

The price seem pretty good and it comes with moniter and keyboard etc,

Hmmmm, CPU and RAM is alright. I'd rather build one than buy that though.

how to save money -> build it yourself and buy a dedicated graphics card later on if u cant do it now, never go 1st for GPU then CPU,you will just end up in disappointment while ur CPU bottlenecks ur GPU and when u finally get a better CPU(+ motherboard most likely) you will have to upgrade ur GPU cuz its outdated :D also NEVER BUY PREBUILT PCs -> they just make u pay like minimum of 10% overpricing (can go over 50% with some companies tho LOL) and u will end up in a position where if u want to upgrade ur PC the warranty of ur PC will be gone since u opened it and changed parts and if u do something wrong and decide to asked the place where u bought it from to cover it with warranty it wont work,so its better to just buy PC parts and build urself a PC - its extremely simple and easy thing to do even if it seems hard, the only hard part is actually when u have to connect the cables from the case to the motherboard,I often fuck that one up cuz every fucking single motherboard is like different like the places where the cables go and sometimes even the PC case has different coloured cables or the stupid text on the cable is like smaller or even just 2-3 letters and u have to figure out what it is @.@ I get mindblown on that part seriously, but when u get over that its easy stuff...

To be fair, the internal connectors/MoBo are still pretty easy to figure out. The only one I've had troubles in the past were the USB connectors. 8 single pin connectors, always battered my noggin, that did. These days, Thank INSERT DEITY OF CHOICE, 99% of the time, the USB connectors are just 1 big plug
