What is Games Done Quick?
Games Done Quick is a bi-annual charity gaming marathon. Volunteers play games at incredible speed ("Speedrunning") for entertainment. The event is streamed live online, non-stop, and all donations go directly to the charity. I never understood why speedrunning is considered a fun thing.

Watching a game you like being finished in a small time is something new and out of the ordinary,if you don't like the game tho it'll be hard to enjoy some of the speedruns

For me speedrunning is the equivalent of doing the grindy achievments in a game : you enjoy said game so much that you keep finding reasons/goals to play it..
Alas not every game is fun to speedrun.. or entertaining to watch a speedrun of. ( Divinity:OS in 20mins? suuure... just how many glitches are they going to use."

Weee.. I guess? Though after seeing the schedule I cant really find many interesting games to watch. + not that big fan of glitch speedruns(unless its a platformer)

Bump, cause in last run of Ape Escape, which jusdt finished, runner Eednob just set up new world record live on SGDQ with 1:28:30 beating his own old world record by 15 seconds ;p
