Serious Sam Classics: Revolution free for owners of both Classic Serious Sam Games

I just noticed I got another game in my library. Apparently, a combined Version of the Classicgames is being made, actual Early Access and owners of the two Classic Games get it for free (automatical added to library). Looks pretty Steamworkish, with Achievements and even the Workshop. :3

I thought (I was even sure!) that HD ones actually give us an access to classics as well. I remember reading about it somewhere quite time ago... I am not sure but I think I had Classics in my Steam library (indeed thanks to HD ones) in the past, now I don't.... I was probably wrong though...

I had to buy it for 5 bucks because I only had the HD :/
I think they should give it to HD owners for free in the future.

Hm, you are right. I also only had the First Encounter. Maybe they dont expect people to only have one, because you usual get the games from the Serious Bundle which include both?

At the moment. I don't know if it's intended, since you get the Second Encounter too for free.

That's where this came from. I have actually been playing these games this week, and I noticed a new Serious Sam in my list. I had bought the entire franchise and this one just recently showed up. Thanks for the info as to why I received something new! xD

i did not have the 1st classic, but now i got it withe the new revloution!!
but Serous Sam HD : 2nd is missing from my profile (i had it before) , i can see it my library but i cant play it

nope, i had the full game
and i got it working, it was buggy and crashed few times
and still i cant see it on my profile, even though it says i already own the game on the store page.

I'd bet you have bought one classics (first) and then compelete pack which gives extra copies.

Because second game was added to owners of first you now owned: First,Second+Complete and thus were eligible for gift copy :)

Also: If you get two games giving gift copy of same game, you'll likely ended with one in library and two gift copies, even if you should get one. (Both games determine that you have game from somewhere else -> give gift copy) :D
