Whiplash...FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!! I also recently saw Birdman, The Theory of Everything, American Sniper, Nightcrawler, The Imitation Game, The Judge, Selma, Boyhood, Foxcatcher and Serena. I liked almost all of them (except Serena, which sucked ass and Boyhood, which is technically very well done, but boring as hell), with Birdman and Nightcrawler being clear standouts among the rest of them. But not even those 2 movies could compare to Whiplash, which is the ONLY movie in 2014 that stands at the same level to the masterpieces I saw in 2013(Rush, Prisoners, 12 Years a Slave, The Wolf of Wall Street, Captain Phillips, Elysium). 2013 really was one of the greatest years in cinema of this millennium.

Oh yeah, and yesterday I saw 50 Shades of Grey... Needless to say, I lost all faith in cinema (and humanity in general) and I felt a compelling needs to bang my head against a wall, as hard as I could. It really is a movie made for absolute cretins. kind of like the Call of Duty games.

Big Hero 6 was amazing. I almost cried twice.

Rewatched Star Wars series

Too many good series, no time to watch movies ! =)

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. It felt like a fitting end to the series.

Whiplash, Nightcrawler

Pretty much everything is disappointing these days. I watch 2-3 movies a week and the latest "good" one I wathed was a few months ago, a classic that I put off watching for too long, The Iron Giant

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. And thanks, even if I'm too late XD

The Equalizer - great movie!!! Wish they gave a little more background on main char though.
Ender's Game - Been out a while and I have seen it a few times... just really like this movie for some stupid reason.

submarine - story about first love, still no typical lovestory, main character is intresting
predestination - tricky timetravelstory
daybreakers - best vampire movie cause cool and different than all others
