Laptop for gaming!

That 2 words can't stand on one sentence "laptop" & "gaming"
It's still the same with the "smartphones" ,if you want to have a phone - buy a phone,if you want to do anything else - take some smartphone.

Despite common belief, as evident in this thread, laptops are great for gaming. Especially these days. There are plenty of good, even great, gaming laptops out there. I use a Lenovo y510p for gaming and have not difficulty running anything. Had it a few years so can't quite ultra max graphics on some of the newer games. But still it is great. I just like the portability and the ability to hook it to any TV in the house. I can game where I want.

The problem is your budget is too low. You either need to save up more money or build yourself a desktop. A self-built desktop will always beat a laptop in cost/performance ratio.

But you can't use a desktop while taking a poop. So it is a trade off either way.

Laptops are almost always more expensive than desktops. Especially if you want a laptop that doesn't weigh a ridiculous ammount, you're gonna need over 1000 euros.

It depends. If you're looking to play indie titles, 500 euros should be enough. If you're aiming for recent blockbuster AAA titles, your budget is too low in my opinion. You'll probably gonna need over 1000 euros to play games with middle graphics options.

My 2 cents as a laptop user:

The problem with laptop is that you'll end up spending more cash to keep up with a desktop PC. Moreover, the quality degrades with each prolonged use. The overall FPS speed on games will also gradually degrade. So yeah, unless you travel around a lot, it's better to have a desktop gaming PC.
