VPN with Steam?!

Hi there!

I have a question about using VPN with Steam. I got THIEF from amd rewards EU page so after activating it's probably like buying from Steam in EU. There is no region lock in EU version (unlike CIS for example). I want to use US region VPN for playing it because it released already in US (February 28th in EU) and I can't wait so long :3. Is it possible that game will "binds" to US region and will be unavailable in EU after official release? It's not a problem using VPN after release I'm just curious.

Using a VPN is not a permanent state for the game so I would THINK it wouldn't be locked if you stopped using the VPN.

VPN is aganist SSA (Steam Subscriber Agreement).

Not so much of a risk, use the vpn to activate, than disable the vpn and you are good to play, but make sure you logout while you are in vpn

Don't use VPN with steam AT ALL. If you really want to play it that bad... well I won't tell you to pirate it, but it's safer than getting your steam account shut down for good.

Best way to do this is the take a vacation to the US for the days you want to play.

Steam only bans for the use of VPN to buy games on other regions. AFAIK, there was never a proven ban for using VPN to simply play a game earlier.
