Very similar of how I got ABC Murders recently. It is something that is difficult to get used to, and sometimes to even react to. But it is a nice feeling for sure. ^__^

I had a very similar experience once! I just posted on a forum "I really wish I had Crusader Kings 2" or something, and someone just told me they had a free copy lying around if I wanted it(the game was 40$ at the time). It's currently my most played steam game. This Random Internet Person just provided me with 231 hours of fun (and counting). Sometimes I really just love the human race :)

Edit: Oh and another time! Someone on here just randomly picked me from the repliers to their thread, and made a GA just for me of one of my whishlisted games! I haven't played that one as much because it's coop and I'm still waiting for my friend to have their laptop fixed so we can play it together, but I'm really excited for it and that person is just awesome as well :D

I had exactly the same experience this week! Still can't believe it and it really made my day/week. I got a game I really wanted from a total stranger. OK this was not a 60 dollar game but that does not matter, this guy bought an extra copy just for me. Amazing I did not know what to say, had a very nice and friendly chat with him, downloaded and played the game immediately and it turned out to be a great game too.

Kept me smiling for days.

I think this will only happen once in a lifetime so enjoy your new game!

I remember having an awful day and I came home to a gift randomly. It was my #1 wishlisted game at the time and I literally whispered "oh my god" and furiously typed away at my computer because I knew I couldn't thank them enough :3

I've done that kind of thing before. I wish I could do it more. It's hard to find the scenario when you know they really want the game, are at least somewhat deserving, and aren't just kissing your @ss to get what they want. Nice to hear your story.

Same thing happened to me a week ago! I was contemplating doing a trade with the HB monthly games for an adventure game I was interested in and asked for some opinions on the forum and a kind soul added me and gave me the key! He then proceeded to give me other games from my wishlist! There sure are some nice people out there :-)
